Re: re: Is It Possible ?
Perhaps you miss the point? I get the point. It could be a side effect of keeping all the parameters staright in my head. About all claculations were done with at best a calculator. It is a bit of a strain. Maybe that is why no one has done it since Bessler. It may be to demanding. I do know I am m...

It is a bit of a nasty trade off, isn't it?ovyyus wrote: Have you noticed that good people skills require virtually no math whatsoever?
I guess I would be better off droppping the math and engineering. I don't think I could seperate the 2. :))

Re: re: Is It Possible ?
P-Motion I can only go with what I see as some basic concepts. I look at the wheel part as a center balanced arm. I see the t pendulums as part of a compound lever that is through the wheel axle. I do not see the concept of the shifting weights as more a disconnect and transer to the wheel side of ...

Re: re: My Original Idea
Actually, I don't think you have the slightest idea of a mechanism to accomplish what you propose & that's where the communication problem lies - most people here can use trig to calculate the torque around an axle [that's not high level math] - what they [& me] can't visualize is a way to ...

Re: re: Is It Possible ?
@ovyyus, scientists and engineers have always relied on math as a tool. Why should this be a negative in establishing the guidelines to build and test a prototype ? You're the only one defending the obvious merits of math. Most sensible people here simply accept that fact and try to move on to the ...

Re: re: Is It Possible ?
Do not give up so easily. I doubt most of the ideas on this and other old ideas will work concerning this problem. Study the basics of mechanics and physics. It is not an easy task. Bessler worked the ideas for a long time to get were he was. I an just one of the few that want to believe he did it....

Re: re: My Original Idea
Hey P-motion, Talking about angular momentum & ice skaters, I can say I studied the law for some time, and it puzzled me a lot. I think most of the members here would usually say that conservation of angular momentum will kill your design here or there, doesn't matter how you arrange your machi...

Until PM can be proven with something more substantial than a claim or a theory, the standard view will hold true. P-Motion wrote: Either the scientists made ussumptions without examining the facts, or they are right and it is not possible. Your polarized statement doesn't help much. I thought it w...

Re: re: My Original Idea
Fletcher, Let's see, Steve posted basically the same thing to me twice. I'd say he was being sarcastic. I don't have the need for that. Not why I posted in here. And I don't think he's a skeptic. But maybe they should tag a person as to whether or not they think ou is possible. And Ralph's continued...

Here is the math that the idea is based on. One more time...please help me understand....this thing is going to accelerate. I see absolutely nothing from you displaying this obvious phenomenon. I have no idea why you ignore my questions! If you say you have the math....show me the math! Jim, I know...

Re: re: Chas Campbell Motor
Greetings Fletcher No they don't as far as I know, but they where patent in 2001 for the 4 arm one and 2006 for the 8 arm one. Alan, A persons' budget also has something to do with things. In a way, it is an expensive gamble unless you can afford to lose that kind of money trying. It's my humble op...

Re: Is It Possible ?
So, what's the question? Who knows, maybe I am wrong and perpetual motion is not possible. 2 references that scientists use to illustrate why have been given. Either the scientists made ussumptions without examining the facts, or they are right and it is not possible. So, is it possible ? Or are th...

Allen, DrWhat, OO7, and James, I agree with your above responses (with the exception of James. I posted this for general review, I am not in any means endorsing it. I attempted to read and understand there disclosure statement and am not any wiser than before. I agree that when such a device is dis...

Is It Possible ?
Many scientists have said perpetual motion is impossible. There are two examples they have given. One is if a ball bearing is rolled down a ramp and rolls up another ramp (or the other side of a U-shaped ramp), it will do so only for so long. They reason that if it were possible, then it would roll ...
