Set up a balanced system that has a part (weight) that's ready to fall. Push it very little and it does fall, bringing the next weight into position.
Good plan Ben,

I'd be very interested to know the mechanics involved in your theory, could you post a drawing?

re: cananyone help me in the topic AIRSHIPS to solve broadba

A company called Sanswire were supposed to have launched their first 'stratellite' in 2005, I can't find any info that they actually did, although they unveiled their shiny new airship to the media and DoD officials in April 2005. http://pesn.com/2005/04/16/6900084_Sanswire_One_Unveiled/ http://t1re...

Brilliant idea, it would extend the range of my home network no end. Dunno if our village maire would approve though :(

Yet what were they doing ? Nothing really. And that is why they did not like me.
Surely not ... could it have been something else?

@Jim-L IMO this forum should be for solving the puzzle of Bessler's wheel. Ralph has put you on ignore, but you register as a different user just to piss him off. (ooops did I swear?) I don't usually take sides, but on this one I must. Ralph has shown fairness and tolerance towards you. But it seems...

Thanks Bessler007,

The curves are supposed to be uniform, I just sketch quickly in Photomagic.

Am I to understand that the COM should be above the axle for it to have a chance of working?

Debbie, You live in France but you write in English as an native of England. Are you English? By the way, I think you are doing very well for a newbe but I'll let you work out who the good guys are and who are the ones that just like the "sound of their own voice". I am English Pete, we r...

Re: re: Bessler's Wheel

Debbie, I took another look at your design. Please take some time to consider this. Going by C, if the wall in the top box that the balls are against is shaped differently, then the weights both could move against the outer wall sooner. This would be by having the upper part of the inside wall goin...

Thanks Ralph, did you mean that it might not move at all? Or that it might do one quarter revolution then stop? I drew the top right hand box with the two weights together on the left (at A) as I thought that the arm going over the top to the left of it would move the weights to that position, that ...

re: Bessler's Wheel

Not sure if this is the place to post this, but as some here are A1 with maths, and I'm not, can someone please take a look at this and tell me how on earth I should approach it mathematically? I got to thinking triangles and squares! And, didn't Bessler say that the weights worked in pairs? I hope ...

We are in northern France, last winter it went down to -16c at night for a few days, but that was unusual. When we moved here we made a decision to take out the oil fired CH and install woodburners, with one having a heat exchanger to run radiators in our three bedrooms and bathroom. The CH system i...
