Re: re: The wheel delima

jiggawatts, that's "dilemma". how can you be qualified to reach for pm if you can't spell in any language?? At least Jiggawatts knows how to use capital letters. However, I wouldn't think that a lack of correct grammar or spelling would affect a person's ability to have valid opinions on ...

John's post mentions applying torque on a time basis not a fraction of the revolution. I'm sure we can all think of examples where torque is applied for many revolutions at a time. I can't think of an example off hand where the time of the torque application remains constant through acceleration tho...

The Limbo Co' hit a new low today and seem resigned to go under. They've scraped the bottom before but no-one's bending over backwards to save them this time. Share trade in the company has now been suspended leaving share holders in Limbo in limbo.

Re: Why I think Bessler was or was not a fraud.

1. The tests were too conclusive Funny, I haven't heard of any conclusive tests. Of course, people still go back to "it ran for a couple of months in a locked room". Yes...? And...? At best, this only shows that it ran for a couple of months in a locked room. This could easily have been a...

Yes Jim, it certainly seems that way. But we don't necessarily have to fight that principle... we can use it to our advantage. It's just getting anything useful from it that seems to be the problem. :)

Maybe my first post was a bit too concise so I'll try again with a bit more detail. The open bottom of the water tower will have to be submerged in water or all the water will just fall out. As such, you can't just lift the tower onto a float; The float needs to be pushed below the water level and u...

Insertion isn't really the problem with this type of thing. It's displacement. The tower wouldn't need to move. As long as the open bottem stays below the water line of the reservoir and you have an airtight removal system, you'd only have to push the float down a little under the wall. The problem ...

Re: re: A Gravity Wheel using 360 degrees???

Your first post stating that Dave Robert's statement is very general is true. What you are missing is that point by point he is telling Ant in a gentleman's way that his OB scissor mechanism will not work no matter how many units he applies to it. The point is that Dave made general comments about ...

@Dave: Your points are very general and don't seem to be directed specifically at Ant's device. Why don't you put your points in a new thread as addressing them here will just send this thread off topic.
