Bessler also said this, "a work of this kind of craftsmanship has, at its basis of motion, many separate pieces of lead. These come in pairs, such that as one of them takes up an outer position, the other takes up a position nearer the axle. Later, they swap places, and so they go on and on cha...

Hi gents, Good points here, its realy a matter of besslers mech competance. My own attempts at working on builds run into snags all the time,a little bit to much play here and there and bad design seem to frustrate me. Bessler must have had a limited budget same as any single person, so just made su...

If we new how the inner workings opperated then it might be very possible to increase the power, without having them contained within a wheel. Bessler made his wheel extremely slender, maybe with modern eingeneering we can increase the output to weight ratio. 550 foot-pounds in 1 horsepower. bessler...

Well i was taking into account that no one will believe, its just a what if idea. The only thing about my builds are that they will be made of scrap so that a museum would laugh and never show it lol, but i will be willing to rent it if iam still alive. was just thinking that some good money could b...

If a working wheel is made, can we sell it at a public aucti

I was just musing about all the work put into finding the solution. So if a person has no interest in the commercial side of things, wouldent we be better off just having a public auction. The inner secret not being revealed until the buyer has success in patent rights. Obviously the auction will in...

re: the clues that fit and the unknown.

Hi Jim Thus it does not say how high the four pounds are lifted. All that is said is that the falling of one pound can lift four pounds and that this causes quick movement of four quarters, which probably refers to a full rotation of the wheel. Am I wrong? possibly not, its all a bit funny in transl...

Hi greendoor To be honest, I really think that if Bessler himself emerged from his grave and demonstrated the naked spinning wheel, and presented a hard bound copy of his finished book - 99% of the people here would not believe Yes true. But it only takes one example to prove it works. Balance of pr...

re: Hello new here

Hi LustInBlack, You have 0.0001% chance of announcing a genuine success, best of luck 300 years and its possible that 100,000 to 1,000,000 people tried to solve this riddle. I'd say the odds are much lower lol, but it only takes 1 working wheel. I, myself, had, let's see, from the beginning of that ...

re: the clues that fit and the unknown.

Lets draw a real world object on a paper: The drawing on paper is flat - a 2D plane. The lines on the paper are connected in a way that seems to visualize a 3D perspektive of a cube or a drum. But it's an illusion: In real life, the object is not a cube or a drum...and it's not connected in the way...

re: the clues that fit and the unknown.

Hi fletcher correct me if I'm off track here but I thought there were 3 dimensions of space [the x,y & z planes] & the 4th was time, but I don't think time is what you are meaning ? Yes u are correct but the 4th is not always time. Mainly I am trying to make a person think outside the 3D pla...
