re: Scissors Simplified

@Jim W & eccentrically1, It does seem he put clues in his drawings as well. In his drawings, he has done some things to point the way. Kind of like hansel and gretel with the bread crumbs. Of course, even the most credible people say his drawings are worthless and should be ignored. Was harassed...

re: Scissors Simplified

eccentrically1,

< So we should be trying to discover what specific mechanics he used to turn his balanced wheel(s). >

This is why I consider his drawings valuable. Otherwise, what value are the clues he left behind ?

re: Scissors Simplified

< Well, what general principle, what law, what rule, what truth are we trying to understand here? >

It would be what Bessler knew and understood thaat we do not.

eccentrically1, < Actually, in a mechanical system, the specific mechanics is the only thing we have to work with. > This simply is not true. If the principle is not understood, then the true function of the mechanics might be missed. As such, this could be why people have such a diffcult time conci...

re: Scissors Simplified

Mt 24 helps.
It is the principle that is important, not the specific mechanics.

If we work on the rule the wheel movie posted on the 27-04-2011 is a working wheel.

Then what is your thinking on how it works?

Regards Agor95
If you watch as it rotates, the weighted arms on the way up move back and forth like air is blowing against them.

re: Scissors Simplified

A bit of an advanced thought.
When retracting the scissors, pulley's allow for a more efficient retraction.

"No. 26: This is somewhat different from the previous model, but it can be described simply: A are levers which are interrupted at B and equipped with weight-wheels at C. The weight-wheels run in a channel E and are attached to the cords D. As the diagram shows, one side is heavier than the oth...

Scissors Simplified

This is one basic concept I believe Bessler used. When the lever with the scissors nears 3 o'clock, it will have maximum force. The example of the scissors is a spread of 90 degrees. By having the scissors shoot outwards at 45 degrees, 4 lbs. of weight would have the force of 2.8 lbs. This would all...

Murilo, To much rubber stamping. I am off work now because I had surgery again. When I return to work, will save money to rent a place I can use as a shop. There is something I want to build and having room to work in will make it much better experience. I like your book on understanding women. My o...

Dax, Murilo did build his up to a point. Someone claims they could have saved them the trouble if he listened to them. I have 2 different thoughts on why more effort is put into why a design would not work. One is what would everyone talk about ? They'd need to build working one's and that takes mor...

Re: re: An infamy: the Bessler secret discovered by a troll?

Murilo, Here is the basic idea. A second "chain" would be the "prime mover". It would hold the weight's most responsible for generating force. Then your existing set up would carry the weghts from bottom back to top again. In the drawing, there are 7 weights as prime movers. The...

re: An infamy: the Bessler secret discovered by a troll?

Tarsier79, Those are good questions. As M designed it, all the weights/mass are on the same chain. There is nothing to seperate the force/potential/mass of the weights. By using a second Avalanche, the mass/weight/potential of the weights can have a cumulative effect. It's true the weights on the Av...
