It has something to do with a database corruption that happened outside of my control. The website code has not changed in years and then suddenly there were a bunch or errors starting with a problem creating a cache file on my hosting provider's servers. Ok I think I might have fixed it by emptying out the problematic database table.

I'm not sure what all the possible side effects of such a drastic operation might be though.

Ok I am suddenly seeing this problem now too.

I see errors in the logs about a possible database corruption issue that I don't understand.

I have tried but am not getting good help from my hosting provider on it.

Apparently ever since I upgraded to phpbb3 a year ago the forum has prevented file attachments larger than 500KB.

I have done some work to try to fix the problem so here is a test.

This image is 8.2 MB.

I have cleaned up the spammers, again, and banned James Lindgaard, again. I'll try to check in and do it more often.
