re: Finsrud's Perpetuum Mobile Protocol for Conclusive Verif

Recall that thereÂ’s also an additional redundant experiment with field-meter to detect telltale electromagnetic signals As far as I know, there is no field meter sensitive enough to detect an electromagnetic field that is properly shielded or again remotely actuated(the actuator is located away fr...

re: Finsrud's Perpetuum Mobile Protocol for Conclusive Verif

My concern is that there may be a power source hidden in the column or the base. There are some claims in history and have been found to be hoaxes. The possibilities are endless. For one, if a transducer is placed in the base to provide enough energy to keep the pendula swinging and this is remotely...

re: Finsrud's Perpetuum Mobile Protocol for Conclusive Verif

It will serve science in general. Although your protocol may show some things are true about the device, if you look at the problem through the eyes of a scientist, you can never conclusively verify this device because of the unknowns involved, namely the working of the center column. Like may peop...

re: Finsrud's Perpetuum Mobile Protocol for Conclusive Verif

Omnibus, Let me ask you a question. The conclusive verfication that you seek regarding Finrud's device, who will it serve?

re: Finsrud's Perpetuum Mobile Protocol for Conclusive Verif

Omnibus, A black box is as I recall it from the electronic field, an unknown element used to test or build a circuit. With any unknown quanity or in this case unknown mechanism, you can not conclude that his device is authentic. A black box as in the electronic field can contain a battery, amplifiie...

re: Finsrud's Perpetuum Mobile Protocol for Conclusive Verif

The central structure is the problem. He says it contains a fourth pendulum and more magnets but they are enclosed in such a way that access to see what exactly they are is impossible unless the whole structure is taken apart. Understandably, Finsrud is not willing to take it apart. Ok but I hope y...

re: Finsrud's Perpetuum Mobile Protocol for Conclusive Verif

Omnibus, The Finsrud device is very interesting and at this point I have no reason to accept or refute it's authenticity. I think you already know that a test on this device must be designed very carfully. The metal ball must be of the same size and weight so as not upset the balance as is apparentl...

re: Another Glitch?

Ken, Please add anohter step to the setup. Each circle has a pin joint to the back ground behind the gear. This setup was tested with multiple settings on the air friction. It will work only lower than a certain value after that the losses are to great to build up any energy in the system, or so it ...

Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone had a chance to set this one up? Any thoughts?, questions? problems? Let me know. Glad to help, anytime.

re: Low Friction Materials, and WM2D Friction Question

rmd3,
You could try a polished steel with ceramic. Also a molybdenum powder or grease. I think they also make this in solid shapes.

re: Another Glitch?

The Picture is out of focus so I will explain this here. 1) Large circle rock, mass=12.566KG 2) Small circles std, mass=.283KG 3) weights attached to large circle steel, mass=.48KG 4) pendulms attached to small cicles steel, mass=.320KG (does not have to be steel) 5) All object set not to collide ex...

re: Another Glitch?

Thanks.

I will let you know in a few days if the model tests negative. If not then I will be needing some special equipment/parts in my shop to prove that it will work in the real world.
