Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
jb,
I think you are right. There are a lot of similarities to a card game. I guess what you are saying, all of you are professionals and I'm a novice. I should fold my hand a get out of the game. You are probably right------------Sam

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
First off I don't know if it will work. It has not been tested. However, the so called "Prime Mover" that I referred to; is a fairly simple arrangement of gears, roller chain and sprockets. A small transmission, if you will, mounted at the center of the wheel to supply constant rotary moti...

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
Oystein has given me an Idea.
I'm thinking that the prime mover,(Primum Movens), was a means or way to generate rotary motion on the wheel, in addition to or separate from it. Which was then used to shift the outer weights continuously.
The more I learn about it the less I know-----------------Sam

Oystein,
I never knew that! As you have explained it; that's good stuff--------------------Sam
(Something has to cause first motion, first rotation) I.E., first motion on the wheel, maybe.

Re: the gravitational energy converter
Georg, You have the right idea. The ring and roller never gets bottom heavy. It can provide continuous torque to the wheel and is instantly reversible. However; the roller has to shift continuously. I don't see how oscillations will ever work but, maybe if you can find a better way to do it, you wou...

Hi SHADOW!!
Part of the SB is at right angles to the other and converging wheels. It was a good idea; it should have worked. It has to be the most novel wheel I've ever seen. You should save it------------------Sam

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
Update, Getting close to trying it. To reiterate, the center drive roller rotates twice the speed of the wheel. With a reversing gear, it drives a jack shaft on the center line, opposite to the rotation of the wheel. Therefore; the rotation of the wheel adds one turn to it,(I think). Which means tha...

SHADOW,
Oh-------------------is that it? I see what you are saying. But, wouldn't it be better if the inner ring could roll to the right----------Sam (I guess it's all Bull Shit, just like thx4 suggested).

Shouldn't the inner ring be at the bottom of the outer ring so that it can roll to the right-------------------Sam

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
Hi SHADOW!
Would it be any better with the weight like a pendulum hanging straight down? Then have the arm pushing the inner ring over at about 3;00 instead of 4:00. Then again maybe not. Georg probably already tried that-----------------Sam
(I don't trust Fletcher)
