The pendulums will never again reach the horizontal position that they need to drive the wheel. They will always reset lower and lower and will eventually stall the wheel.
Just to admit you are right !

re: One way wheel

Thanks for your remarks. The figures of a device with pendulums are not easy to solve. In my mind a clever modification of the swinging time of the pendulums in the raising and falling side can lead to optimal use of energy. I'm using a demo ow WM2D. But this excellent software is not intended for t...

re: One way wheel

Hi Tim Cochran,

I have to admit that it is a very elementary design
But let's see that new picture

The question is if the swing of the green pendulum increases or decreases the rotational speed of the wheel.

re: One way wheel

Hi sleepy IMO you forget the kinetic energy stored in the wheel that allows the pendulum No 4 to reach a level above the horizontal. ( you can test it) It can be released slightly later than the horizontal. In a perfect design the catch / release function of pendulums would be managed by electronic ...

re: One way wheel

And now the explanation. What we can see: 1.- a wheel of mass M can rotate only CCW 2.- 8 pendulums evenly spaced can swing only CW only when they reach the horizontal ( each 180 º ). So must of the time the pendulums are in a fixed position 3.- We ca easily see that the wheel will rotate in a way ...

re: The nature of gravity.

There is a saying in the wave-particle duality theory of physics; on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we use waves. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays we use particles.

And on Sundays the Higgs boson :)

They never suffer. A single photon has no entropy. That's probably why I am allergic to it. :) Aha, so we have to assume that single photons do not interact with its environment or ,otherwise , the interaction is in such a way that the profit is 100% equal to the loss... It's not about the photon's...

re: Gravityconverter

Hi Georg

IMHO it would be an advantage if the cylindrical weights could turn only in one direction. The opposite to the main wheel.
As long as I understood your device.

re: The nature of gravity.

Quantum mechanics is not exactly weird but statistical. Since it is not possible to have atomic-scale observation tools only large numbers can be analyzed. And only probabilistic answers can be provided. Think about rain noise frequencies in the roof. Individually levels can not be assigned to each ...

Re: re: The nature of gravity.

So what force actually stays here if gravity is that slow? The force that stays here is apparently that of eight minutes ago (if we only talk about the sun ) :)) The defenders of the standard model feel very uncomfortable with thinks like quantum entanglement https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_e...

It depends on the exact location in the space. Near a heat source for example. If you believe that gravity is the result of a space displacement I can address you to a very interesting web https://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/eppp-archive/100/200/300/gabriel_lafreniere/matiere_ondes-e/gravity.htm In ...

Not at all the question is rather that there is no external boundary condition in the universe ( by definition) to keep the expansion consist...

And it also means that the expansion of the universe is compensated by the suction of the gravity
A kind of macro Hooke law of the space fabric.
While the universe remains in the elastic range the gravity is an atraction.
Beyond, in the plastic range, gravity will become a repulsion.
