UFOs and Anti-Gravity
Hi folks! This doesn't directly deal with Bessler's wheel, so I put this here in the Off-Topic section. This video deals with a lot of stuff which I don't necessarily believe, but I found the anti- gravity information interesting. I had never seen this before and actually found it entertaining. Here...

re: Liquid gravity engine...
I agree with Tarsier. "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction". This is why any self-contained machine of this nature will not work. If you clamp a firehose to the ground and place an empty box over the water jet shooting upward, the box will be elevated up. But if you c...

Gravity Puzzle
I had never seen this before and I thought it might be a fun distraction/ project for some of the gravity wizards on the forum. Who knows... perhaps you might be able to win a few bets with this. Enjoy!

re: Why Bessler's wheel is mostly a guy thing.
A few years ago I was playing around with some magnets on a small wheel I had constructed, mostly out of materials I already had. I was working on it on the kitchen table when my wife happened to walk by and ask what I was doing. I told her, and then I proceeded to tell her about Bessler and his whe...

re: Two circles Paradox
I’m not sure if I understand your explanations, but: Both circles are skidding along the straight lines, with the inner circle doing the most skidding (traveling horizontally), but with its outer perimeter rotating slower than the larger circle. There is a third circle which is the outer most peri...

Hi Raj, In my opinion, the weights down the center of the wheel basically cancel each other out. So what you have is three weights on the left side and two on the right. Although it may appear that always having more weights on one side will allow the wheel to continuously turn, the two weights on t...

re: Why only four pounds?
One thing that has also puzzled me is, why where Bessler's wheels so proportionally thin? A few year back I remember posting my opinion (guess) as to why. I also remember Jim estimating the amount of available internal space (thickness) in one of Bessler's wheels, after taking into account what the ...

Hi Raj,
You seemed to be very enthusiastic about your previous design configuration. Although this one still has a significant major element that hangs from the main wheel, other parts of the design have changed drastically. What happened?

Hi carloluna, I noticed that as soon as your simulation started, there was a lot of spring energy released that had nothing to do with the influence from the wheel’s motion. I’m not sure what your settings on the springs were or if all that initial spring motion was intentional. This is only an ...

Raj, I am of the same opinion as Chris. Currently, I also believe that gravity alone will not create PM. Initially, I believed it could be possible when I first started experimenting decades ago. It wasn't until the last couple of years that I realized gravity alone could not do it. I came to that c...

re: Mayday! Mayday!!!
Hi Raj, One way to make only one spoke stretch out at a time in the six-o-clock (hour hand) position is to raise and support the larger wheel with a fixed pin, just like the smaller hub. Raise it enough so that when one of the spokes is at the very bottom (six-o-clock position), it is fully extended...

re: Mayday! Mayday!!!
Hi Raj, I used WM2d to simulate your design as I understand it. The large wheel, arms, and hub are simulated as plastic parts. The eight weights are simulated as having the properties of steel (heavier). Because everything is suspended from the hub, which is fixed to a center of rotation point, ever...
