True but obviously if all the weights were rigidly connected to the wheel they would not maintian the position shown as the wheel rotated. They have to move some way. LOL

Winkie you can't get a difinitive answer to "the weights are hooked to the wheel some way, some how, some where, will it run. If the weights applied their load on the wheel at the positions shown in your sketch it should run. How they are attached to the wheel however will determine where those...

If all the weights are applied at the edge of the wheel then you would have to ignore that some are outside the wheel and some are inside the wheel. Where the load is applied is what will determine whether it will run or not. The weight itself can be in the next county.

It matters if they're fixed or on pivots and where the pivots are located. Looks like 2 weights at the bottom and none at the top, did you mean to do that?
