Besslers two directional wheels could be turned slowly by hand and acted as if it where totally balanced. When given a good push it achieved full RPM speed in three rotations of the wheel. These are some photos of my CpF experiments.
I had to start it with a push and it ran for 2 min. before it stopped. Had I installed a rim it would have ran longer but I would lose the high swing of the weights.

A friend of mine has an idea that uses pulleys. Gears will not work in what he wants to do. It has nothing to do with a pm machine. Could you can wake me through it.
