re: Einstein changes mind about ether theory, now agrees wit
Hi, It is my belief that the aether is the fabric of space and it this through which light propagates. I say propagate as this is how light can travel at the speed it does. Much like if you push a solid object, the whole thing moves in unison such that the furthest point moves at the same speed as t...

Hi all, It must be IE on my laptop, it's OK at work. I'll stamp on it a few times. May not work but I'll feel better. Hi Murilo, my avatar is a character called "Vince" from a quirky UK clay animation series called "Rex the Runt" that was out in 2000ish. He's my favourite! JohnnyD

Can't get into topic "Mayday! Mayday!" page 14
Is there a bug on the page? IE crashes out if I try to scroll or page down so I can't see what's at the bottom. Or is it just me?

re: The REAL Solution. Including the design.
Hi all,
I just have one question.
Most contributors here post their designs whether they feel they're a runner or not, to get feedback and help.
Whenever anyone thinks (or even know) they have the solution, they clam up. Why is this?

Gears in WM2D
Hi all,
Is there a way in WM2D to enable/disable gears for part of their rotation?
If one gear is connected to a wheel, I want the gear to connect to the wheel for half of the wheel's revolution only.
Cheers,
JohnnyD.

Hi Greendoor, Just to keep off topic for alittle longer, your mention of stealing electricity reminded me of a story I heard a few years ago. A man here in the UK owned a house located under some overhead power lines. The power company noticed one day that his electricity usage had ceased abruptly, ...

re: Induction generator, help needed.
Hi nicbordeaux, If you take a squat magnet and place one pole on a sheet of aluminium angled at say 45 degrees and let it slide, it won't just whizz down, but will slide gently down. This is because the moving magnet will induce a current into the aluminium which in turn will produce a magnetic fiel...

Hi Preston,
I saw you mentioned Asa Jackson. Do you have any pictures or videos of anything you have replicated of his? I would very much like to see them if you have!
Cheers,

Well, I know I don't post much on here, but that doesn't mean to say I'm not doing my bit in the background. I'll get an idea or two, WM2D it, watch it fail then think of something else. If I get something of interest, I'll certainly post it. But until then..... So Merry Christmas and a productive N...

re: My Universal Gravity Wheel IS a runner...
Raj, you state quite clearly in the header that is IS a runner. You have stated a fact, quite different from a claim. You can claim all you want, but until you have built it, you can't say for definite that it will work. Many on here have had runners, but in their brains only. Build it, but hold off...

Question for John Collins.....
Hi John, Out of all the designs on this forum (excluding Besslers of course!), do any come close to the design you have derived from Bessler's clues? Now obviously you may not choose to answer as there may be one that's so close to yours. Or you may answer, Bessler style, and mislead us. Anyway, jus...

Hi John,
You take your time! Nothing good ever came out of rushing things. I have experienced that too many times in my job and know it can turn round and bite you in the ass.
I know only too well of things getting in the way of other things.
We're all routing for ya!
