re: Grim's idea
Yes, a pop-can size slug of lead weighs considerably more than 1 1/2 lbs. You must have forgotten to cut the slugs into 3/4" thick wafers? All one is doing is using counterweighted levers and helper springs to lift the weight off the bottom of the wheel, making it topheavy and unstable. The top...

Hi Jim Have returned after long hiatus. In answer to your question, the big weights were 1 1/2 lb., the small ones six-oz. I made them by removing the tops from several soda cans and pouring them with molten lead. After cooling, the soda cans peeled off easily, leaving soda-can sized lead slugs. The...

re: CENTRIFUGAL FORCE CYCLIC ENERGY GENERATOR
A spring is only a mechanical capacitor. It comes close to returning the energy stored in it by compression or expansion or torsion, depending on the type, minus the heat generated during its distortion.

Question for Scott
Hi Scott
Who are "Al Bacon" and "Ted of Chicago"? Are they fellow researchers?
Just curious due to the discrepancies in various translations.
Thanks!

If someone gave you the diagram of an engine and left depictions of vital components out of the diagram, and you or anyone else had never seen one before, you would have a jolly time reproducing it.

Hi Ralph
Note on the drwg, the top left weight on the pendulum's "T" bar is twice the thickness of the right hand weight. Do you believe the relationship of the length of the top "T" bar to the vertical bar is in proportion (as a pendulum illustration only)?
Best Regards,
grim

re: Opinions, please
Hi Georg Good to hear from you, it's been a long while. You are correct, there was no external pendulums. I believe he is illustrating at least one internal part (pendulum and tensioner) and has left out one important internal part on purpose. The pendulums depicted are apparently for illustration o...

Concerning the particular drwg at the top right of the Discussion Board:
Did he draw the pendulum to scale, i.e., relationship of the T-bar lengths correct, etc., or did he pencil-whip it?
Thanks in advance,
grim

Info clarification from John Collins
Hi John It's been quite a while. Hope you and yours are well. Just a refresher question, please, if this is recalled correctly? A) JB says he has depicted "pendulums that are modified as shown"? B) He also mentions a "lower cylinder" as the "principle piece of the machine&qu...
