Re: Besslers prime mover and its enabler.
Hello Roxaway59 Hmmm...the driving outer wheel needs as much OUT of balance as it can get, so as to make it a driver! <grin> If, on the other hand, you can provide an effective counterbalance to the inner wheel you will have a runner. The problem I'm having providing the balancing element, is that i...

Hi Fletcher and all
Re: MT 113
I've often wondered if perhaps the "circle and arrow" at the top of the second from left figure, could also
be a reminder to MT13 ?
Do the two "freehand" crosses also re-enforce that link?
Regards
Mick

Hi Fletcher Hmm...the question is can wm2d actually show what is happening in the video? Better to start with a replication first, before changing the parameters... just in case it can't ! This may be an example that is showing us wm2d limitations. Interesting that the wheels' rotations are followin...

Have a look at the Wesley Gary motor. 1879
I haven't had a try at replicating this one, but it does seem quite plausible.
Date wise it probably preceeds the scammers!

Re: Might somebody clarify please?
I see a black horizontal axle. When in rotation (ends of red rod coming in and out of the screen /page) I would expect the angled beam in B to try to align to that in A. The force involved would lead to a bending of the black axle if it was not stong enough to withstand it, and/or a fracture of the ...

When I'm having a "doubting session" I think about all the time, effort, and billions that
are being spent on trying to achieve nuclear fusion.
They don't appear to be "a few days away" either!
What we are trying to do with limited resources is no less worthy.

Hi Mr Tim
I had this problem initially.
I found my "Forum" bookmark was still on http.
Changing to https (re-bookmarked when logged in) solved it for me.
Using Firefox browser.

Hi Gregory
cannot be called acceleration as that quantity is time dependent?

Mick
Wouldn't your choosing of dA instead of dt mean the change in velocityThen V(0) - V(-1) will be my change in speed, aka acceleration, so A(0) or A(-1), right?

Hi Mr V
The lower pulley would direct the force to keep the wheel firmly in the support bearings.
I think it is purely for this reason, as it would have been unacceptable to have had a sideways pull.
.....much better for stability
