re: Why didn't Bessler let it roll

As it was already discussed in overunity.com, together with proving that CoE can be violated in the case of a magnetic propulsor, the most amazing thing about the cycloid from a physical point of view is the overlooked violation of CoE in this case too. Amazingly, all the focus regarding the cycloid...

re: energy producing experiments

broli, Correct. The engineering problems involved are hardly up to your average free energy enthusiast. It’s like asking a microprocessor enthusiast to build his own microprocessor in his garage without the infrastructure of the multimillion dollar research labs and production facilities. To build...

re: energy producing experiments

You are telling me something about yourself not about the experiment.
On the contrary, I'm telling you that the experiment, if properly engineered, must inevitably work as a self-sustaining device.

re: energy producing experiments

Ralph, I have asked before for an explanation of how this design is supposed to be self-sustaining without an answer. I have given an explanation already as to why this design is supposed to be self-sustaining. In this design the center of mass is always sideways to the axis of rotation at any posit...

re: energy producing experiments

@greendoor,

Read carefully what @Wubbly writes and make an effort to understand it. Your ramblings on other issues are beside the point.

re: energy producing experiments

@pequaide and @greendoor, Focus on this: If the angular momentum of the pully can be translated back into linear momentum, then perhaps my momentum analysis was a little too simple minded. @Wubbly is giving you a chance to show his momentum analysis was a little simple minded. Show how the angular m...

re: energy producing experiments

@Wubbly’s is giving an example of how a discussion should be conducted and what scientific arguments really look like. @pequaide and @greendoor will benefit greatly if they read more carefully what @Wubbly is writing and what he’s trying to tell them rather than continue to splash their confusio...

re: energy producing experiments

@Fletcher,

This sim is irrelevant. The correct sim (however, not using the flawed WM2D) must be based on the totality of all the torques created in the wheel at hand.

re: energy producing experiments

@Fletcher, could also be modeled in WM to compare, if possible No, it isn’t possible to model the device in question with WM2d because WM2D is flawed. Like I said, WM2D can only be used to determine the center of mass and its position with respect to the axis of rotation. Nothing else. it seems - ...

Re: re: energy producing experiments

Absolutely Mick - that's the crux - WM is of only academic interest, as I've said many times - the reality is the real world results & they will make or break the arguments put forward on this thread. Absolutely not. A flawed program such as WM2D cannot be of any interest let alone academic. Fu...

re: energy producing experiments

The device has to be made very precisely in its entirety because the effect is cooperative. Modeling of parts of it won't do. This is one of the problems with, say, magnetic motors -- some think that if it appears that it works it's done and they are in a hurry to announce success to the world. Not ...

re: energy producing experiments

I reiterate, WM2D should be rejected outright for the purposes of this discussion, except for demonstrating where the center of mass is. No hesitation on that issue.

re: energy producing experiments

@mickegg,
I think WM2D can NOT now be used to prove or disprove this behaviour as it may be possibly using the wrong equations.
Can't agree more. WM2D can only be used to determine the center of mass with respect to the axis of rotation.

re: energy producing experiments

@broli,
All the concepts are well established, only experimentation is left.
Depends what concepts you have in mind. Those of @greendoor and @pequaide are not concepts but confusion which requires no experimentation.
