re: Another bothersome one.

Here is a vid which shows what happens when the different components of the system are released simultaneously from a position as described above. In some of these runs, mags have been used, in others not. The only purpose of a magnet would be to grab and get a tenuous hold on things until a "c...

Thanks, that is what I was asking, in part. So we can start with :if the pendulum shaft is locked into position vertical before the Wheel with OB weight (red dot) is revolved to 3, the travel needed will be strictly 90°, therefore when the Wheel is also fixed in the 3 position, there is energy stor...

That's a decent point Alan. Are you sure that there should be something next ? Meaning that the fundamental principle is described, it can go in any way from there. I use the "gain" for initial acceleration of a swing arm, pendulum DP, pendululm Wheel, call it what you will, but other buil...

re: Another bothersome one.

No takers ?

Not a problem. I will now look into transmuting gold into lead. That may sound stupid. Until you realize there is more money to be made by shorting the heck out of the lead market than in selling vast amounts of gold.

The main thing you need in case you ever mistakenly discover perpetual motion is a 12 bore, because that'll stop most things which show signs of getting out of control.

Yes, thank you, that did help. Looks like what is needed is a circle for initial acceration to Vmax, then flaps on the circle deploy outwards to make it a square, then the flaps retract to make it a circle on the upstroke :-) Which is a waste of time, it's like having weights sliding about on or in ...

Another bothersome one.

In the attached sketch, an arm, of a pendulum type, and a Wheel, with a weight (red). The Wheel is obviously "OB" Rotating the Wheel from "keel point" to the 3 o' clock position will throw the arm the other way, a bit. This can be explained away by equations, acts of God, or comm...

A square wheel

Maybe a kind forum member can answer this one : if one has a round Wheel, and a square, both perfectly center drilled, and with an "OB weight" placed at an identical distance from the center, what will the differences be in stress or action upon the bracket or else to which the Wheel axle ...

To cut a long story short, some people are surmising that boiled potatoes are OB and will keel, and being starchy and soft will then vibrate internally or slop around, generating OU electricity via zinc anodes previously inserted.

re: Big Troubles Brewing For The Theoretical Physics Smart-S

Nah, ammeter astronomy is a bloke waving around a long metal rod wired to an ammeter and checking for residual energy from the big bang on stormy nights. A lot of people got fried by zero point energy.

Welcome Michael. Your "5.8oz. weight falling in a 15 inch radius, 90 degrees , would leave an impact equal to 98.6 lbs static" does have an anlog: You can sit a big weight sat on a nail which is held vertical in some way, it will not penetrate a plank of wood. However, a small weight in th...

This is stuff too dangerous to discuss : can you imagine what would happen if a meltdown occurred in a boiled potato reactor ?

I have a few friends who haven't ever built anything, but believe that all these "PM" vids on youtube are real, and post them on their Facebook page along with eat vegan and other stop eartworm cruelty content. I had a hard time explaining away some joker claiming that you can get electric...

Re: re: The Rubber Band Motor

I assume that you agree angular momentum has to be conserved. Pardon my unsolicited two pennies worth of opinion, Frank, but actually, no! I'm currently working toward a solution (well, I can hope, eh?) which is based on the fact that conservation of angular momentum can be suspended, even if only ...

Just wondering, is it AA or AAA battery ?
