Why bother posting?

re: Why bother posting?
Your prerogative Jim, but you will get no respect or peace from me. I am a busy man and don't have the time for your parlour games on what is deceiving and what is lying, just keep your semantics.
What goes around, comes around.
re: Why bother posting?
Jim we will leave the last word to the person that knows the truth.
Bill, did Jim ever intentionally in your opinion deceive the forum members due to his own personal greed?

Maxwell's demon doesn't (and can't) exist in nature, but mechanical demon can? Maxwell's is also a hypothetical mechanical natural process.jim_mich wrote:Mechanism has two meanings.
1. a system of parts working together in a machine; a piece of machinery.
2. a natural or established process by which something takes place or is brought about.
Maxwell's Demon has never been found in nature, as far as I know.
My concept is so simple that disclosing the mechanism [1.] would disclose the mechanism [2.]
And disclosing the mechanism [2.] would disclose the mechanism [1.]
Why would the thermodynamic version not exist, not be found in nature, and solid version exist?
Maxwell's describes hypothetical system that can't exist,so it can't be used as an argument for some similar system to exist, only a hypothetical system.
If you could build anything at all, it would really help your case here.
Why can't you build even a two weight version with sticks and stones or whatever. Because?
yawn.

It is very simple! If you have information that you do not wish to reveal, then quit baiting members by flaunting it!preoccupied wrote:daxwc,
You are being inappropriate. It's not appropriate to try to get someone to release patentable information. Of any excuse anybody could give to only share part of information, this is probably the best one he gives. Don't ever complain based on this argument again! It makes you look selfish and this forum look amateurish.
I am building what I believe to be a patentable device, do you see me discussing it here on this forum? No, you do not, all that is known is that I am working on a molecular mass design sparked by an idea received from a fellow member.
If it works it will be scrutinized by:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_No ... Laboratory
If they approve it, a patent will be applied for and then public media will be advised.
I am not interested in the festering being spawned on this thread. I have said all I am going to say.
jim_mich knows where I stand, and if he reads his private mail, he will see that I am offering my suggestive assistance in bailing himself out of his present dilemma.

The truth is that Bill lied in that post.Bill, in a past post awhile back wrote:over a year ago I described in a forum post Jim's general required movement for the weights inside his so-called motion wheel. He claimed to me that he had completed a working model based on this principle and requested that I remove/edit my posted description (post #108554) so that it would not interfere with his patent process. His offer was that if I removed the information in my post then he would include me in his list of recipients for one of the small 'proof of principle' model wheels he claimed to be working on
I have exact copies of the emails between myself and Bill.

Hi Bill,
It seems Ralph was right, I said too much on the Bessler Wheel forum. And you guessed a big portion of my wheel idea. I'm not prepared to talk details about it just yet. But could you do me a very big favor? Could you edit or remove the next to last paragraph of your post #108554 where you describe your concept of my wheel, so that I don't have any problems with the new 'First to File' patent system here in the USA? In return I promise you will be at the top of my shipping list for the small 'proof of principle' model wheels I'm working on.
Thanks,
Jim Randall

Hi Jim,
Agreed. It is removed.
May I ask what your current schedule is?

Thank you.
I’m hoping by midsummer, maybe three months or so. Maybe longer. I’m getting old and don’t move or think as fast anymore.
Jim
As you can see, I never told Bill that I had a working wheel. My standard policy is to follow my plan. Which is to never reveal anything until all is ready. From: Bill McMurtry

No problem. Will be a tough wait.
Sounds like congratulations are in order. Happy to help in any way I can should you need it. Stay well.
So you see, when Bill claims that I lied to him, it is he that is the liar.
So daxwc, where have I ever lied?
It is a never ending fight here to keep you people straight. It all started by cloud camper's lies about my tornado statement. A lie repeated often enough is soon assumed to be truth. I keep fighting all these lies about me. But people soon believe the lies, as daxwc has done here.
How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?
re: Why bother posting?
So if your standard policy is to follow your plan, can you now see how someone might think you (at the very least) were misleading?jim_mich wrote:The 'PLAN'... (I posted this a while back.)
A] First get something that works!!!
B] Take steps to insure the idea survives in case of calamity.
C] Define the principle or the reason why it works!
D] Design a simple cheap working POP (proof of principle) sample model.
F] Build as many of these models as money/time/reasoning suggest.
G] Plan Ad campaign, including literature, web space, documentation, etc.
H] Write patent applications for most major countries.
I] Prepare a list of names, addresses of who is to receive what.
J] Always continue research into increasing power output and alternate designs.
K] Load up on liability and life insurance.
L] When all is prepared, file patents, upload web site, mail plans, ship models, etc. Hit the media hard! Make a sensation! Be on the evening news worldwide.
Do what needs to be done to keep those in power from suppressing your invention. It is much harder to put the genie back into the bottle after everyone has seen it. They move slow. You must move fast. The window of opportunity is between when the PTO receives your application and when someone reviewing it realizes what your invention realy does.
re: Why bother posting?
So Jim you were only playing the game of I have a working wheel before that in threads. The implied semantics got you into this. Was the game worth it to the loss of respect you accumulated from everybody?

re: Why bother posting?
Jim, you mentioned 'proof of principle' to Bill in those emails and on the forum, which is the fourth item (or D) in your plan. Well after "get something that works". I'd say that it does border on lying, or at least very misleading.

Jim
Have you seen enough to achieve a conclusion to your thread topic? "Why bother posting?"
If your going to blame it on age, have you considered asking for assistance? That is of course only if you have something worthy of assisting.
There is nothing in the plan that requires things be done an any special order.
The 'PLAN'...
A] First get something that works!!!
In other words, find a concept, a principle, a mechanisms that will produce PM.
B] Take steps to insure the idea survives in case of calamity.
Take steps that in case you drop dead, the idea does not die with you, like it did with Bessler.
C] Define the principle or the reason why it works!
Put into writing why it works, and where the energy comes from.
D] Design a simple cheap working POP (proof of principle) sample model.
Design a wheel, that works, that can be hauled to the patent office in your own vehicle. I'd never trust any shipping company
E) [Originally omitted by mistake]
F] Build as many of these models as money/time/reasoning suggest.
Build a number of wheels in case someone steals your original. When the proper time comes, these can be shipped, or personally delivered to skeptics and friends.
G] Plan Ad campaign, including literature, web space, documentation, etc.
Design animations, web space, literature, so that when ready you can convey the design of the wheel and the reasons why it works
H] Write patent applications for most major countries.
Put down on paper the full description of the method and the means that are claimed as protected intellectual property.
I] Prepare a list of names, addresses of who is to receive what.
Look up people in universities and get addresses of friendly forum members, anyone that might help.
J] Always continue research into increasing power output and alternate designs.
Keep researching. Develop a fluid version. Develop a bi-directional version. Develop a refrigerant version.
K] Load up on liability and life insurance.
Scratch this one. When you're dead, you're dead.
L] When all is prepared, file patents, upload web site, mail plans, ship models, etc. Hit the media hard! Make a sensation! Be on the evening news worldwide.
The final end goal. No amount of internet posting will ever convince a true skeptic. No amount of words on a patent application will convince a patent examiner. Not amount of videos will convince viewers. But if you make a big enough splash when you first jump, then the chances of success are greatly increased.

First!
"First" would certainly seem to imply some sort of order, wouldn't it? ...lol
Oh, wait. With jim_mich that will probably mean that the "first" only applied to that step.
...oops, not to imply a step means there's any particular order or that them being labeled alphabetically implies any sort of order...
...I guess?
