The patent of Mr Joseph Morgese (perpetual motion seesaw):
The description of his seesaw can be examinated here:
http://freakiefries.com/gpmss%20description.htm
A flash animation can be seen here:
http://freakiefries.com/animation/html_with%20text.html
(If the seesaw really works, the money from the ads would be just peanuts aside).
I dont'know if this is correlated with the works of Mr Ramesh Kumar Menaria. His web site is here:
http://ramesh-menariya.tripod.com/
See the small animated shots at the middle of the URL.
The people seem to actuate manually the wheel (a not working replicat?)

This guy is bogus and clueless ,living in La La land. Many folks on this website have a bettter understanding about gravity wheels than this guy.

Merry Christmas Path Finder
I think that the Morgese sea-saw is the best possible runner I've seen in a long time. Looks pretty simple to build. He applied for the patent in august 1996, that's plenty of time to build a proto-type(14 years)
Did you try to contact the inventer to see if he's got pictures of his builds, and if he could explain why it didn't work.
I'm going to go back and read the entire site, maybe those answers are in there and I just didn't see them yet.

Hang on... OK, this guy has the right idea. Meaning that seesaw is the way I think selfsutaining operation can be achieved.
But have you visited his home page ? He sells all sorts of New Age stuff, seminars... Messages to New Age Girls whatever the message is.
And he call's his device "God's perpetual seesaw" or something to that effect ? It was patent pending in 96 ? Then there is either a patent for it right now, or it's failed, if ever it were meant to work.
A load of copper plated baloney, no buts or ifs. I doubt the aliens will bother to abduct this one :)
EDIT: heck, just toured the guy's site, either he has a sicker sense of humour than me, or he is really in need of help :) http://www.freakiefries.com/new_age_hotel.htm
Path_Finder, Getterdone : you guys want to follow a real charismatic character ? You want to get rich real quick like 200 000 bucks just like that and you do no work ? Check out Marasha Gunou Swahshi Nicbordeaux at
http://membres.lycos.fr/nicbordeaux/eng ... tunity.htm
You want to see areal Elvis resurection site ? Check it out right here at http://membres.lycos.fr/nicbordeaux/english/elvis.htm
Need to know the real hard facts about a real worse than Roswell alien incident ? Look no further, I got it for ya right here at http://membres.lycos.fr/nicbordeaux/english/saucer.htm
And coming soon a real franchise opportunity for a fish n' Chip shop franchise Church, plus a real computer animation of a PM device that you can save the world with for only 50 000 bucks.

If you think you have an overunity device, think again, there is no such thing. You might just possibly have an unexpectedly efficient device. In which case you will be abducted by MIB and threatened by aliens.

Many thanks to Nicbordeaux, BIBLEAL and getterdone. Happy Christmas.
Obviously the best of us can make the difference.
But any design, even unsuccessful, can be useful for the other guests/members.
It was my sole intent.
Sometime the most simplest ideas are working (cf my signature).

re: The patent of Mr Joseph Morgese (perpetual motion seesaw
To Nic and BIBLEAL I have to agree with you guys that this guy seems to be a few fries shy of a Happy Meal, however I think his design is well though out.
The problem that I have had when building these types of design was with binding, that is to say that the weight onthe end of the se-saw would want to bind everything up. He seems to have found a selutionto this by putting those diamond guides slidding on vertical post (no.14) The next place his see-saw would have binded would've been were the weight sits at the wide end of the track, he seems to have overcome this by installing that hook that gets the ball rolling.
If It's so obvious to you guys that it wont work, than can you explain it to me, cause to me it's a very interesting design

Hi Leo,
I can't tell you that the guy's device won't work, it looks real good at a glance to me. Probably Ralph or some other person with a load of experience could discuss it ?
However, the thing is that the guy is running a scheme to roll in bucks to the Holy Church of Himself by a whole load of means, which would tend to kind of discredit the whole idea. So we need a scenario : he's a genius, he's invented PM, put it online then the men in black or the aliens or the bunny cuddlers or anybody else are unhappy and terminate him after having him turn his whole site into something so delirious as to discredit the whole idea. Or he got bought out and as the design was already online it would have seemed suspicious to pull it, so he leaves it online and pretends to be a holy Church of Pizza Franchise salesman, again to discredit the idea. Or maybe it ain't his idea ? Or maybe...
Anyhow, it works on principles similar to builds I've tried, guess somebody is going to have to build that particular one to see what actually happens. Or maybe contact the guy claiming you are the saviour and would he like 1 000 000 bucks in well thumbed greenies to tell you more about it ? Unless he's been abducted. or terminated or something.
Or maybe somebody can just google the name + PM and see what come's up apart from the guy's site.

Hang on Fletcher, you actually mean that there are guys out there who think they have invented PM and they're not on this forum ?
Anyway, nice to know it won't work, that saves buying them black bowling balls for a similar sort of experiment.

Wow! what a Christmas present! I have not seen this one for what seems like 10 years ago! Surprised to see that the animation is still ticking!

re: The patent of Mr Joseph Morgese (perpetual motion seesaw
If you look at the animation , you will see that the tracks on which the weights shift remain horizontal as the seesaw rocks. This is the Desaguliers Parallel beam {Roberval Balance] revisited. Wont work .
Nicb - out of curiosity, why do you think there is a difference between Desagulier's beam and Robervals balance? AFAIK they are one and the same - parallel beams that keep the weights horizontal.
A lever trades Force for Distance. This animation shows the lever effect being used to raise one ball by the fall of the other ball. However - with a lever, you can never raise a ball the same height as the falling ball. To overcome friction losses, you will need some mechanical advantage (not just 1:1), and that means you always lose some height.
The idea of using a Roberval or Desaguiliars parallel beam is to keep the weight horizontal. But that is trying to defeat the leverage principle: keeping it horizontal actually requires more force to raise the weight higher than the circular-acting lever alone can provide ....
Back to the drawing board ...

re: The patent of Mr Joseph Morgese (perpetual motion seesaw
Greendor, I think that most people seriously misunderstand the Desaguiliers "beam" in the sense that it isn't a beam, but a set of identical length beams forming a deformable paralleogram. Therefore it is often quoted or invoked to wrongly point out that a single beam device with a panto arm won't work :) Furthermore, the fact that a device includes a deformable paralleogram doesn't make that paralleogram necessarily a constant ratio Desaguiliers device. It is this aspect which I have an issue with. If a Desaguilers "beam" is taken to be this http://www.todayinsci.com/Books/MechApp ... /page2.htm then there are no issues. Especially if one takes into account the paragraph second from end (I think) about velocity and mass.

hi guys!
Joseph Morgese here!
i appreciate all the comments...wow! I didn't know this web site
here's how the see saw came to me
I really got deep into meditation...it came in a meditation way back in 1982...real quick...a vision...so fast and not clear at all...like a flash of lightning on a dark rainy night ...it appeared
and i knew it was perpetual motion and I knew i could build...just waiting for the backing

re: The patent of Mr Joseph Morgese (perpetual motion seesaw
Dear Joe,
Welcome on this forum.
Don't care so much of the critics (sometime a little bit hard) and if you have some time let explain to us how your system works.
What I find interesting is the use of the 'conical principle'.
I suppose that Nicbordeaux (and some others) did not see with attention enough the shape of the rails supporting the two balls.
Like the famous skill toy, here:
http://www.tintoyarcade.com/products/Hi ... -Game.html
There is a big difference with the Roberval balance and the Desaguliers parallelogram: the two rails supporting the balls are horizontal indeed, but because the modification of the rails spacing (using the famous 'V' shape of the conical path) , the balls are rolling up and down alternatively.
Is that true?
Many thanks in advance.
