they won't have to EXPLAIN their secrecy order
remember: NOTHING would be published
NO patent would be given
and if you explained what it was all about
as you were complaining to the world
you'd have to reveal the secret
otherwise yer just a pissed off inventor comlpaining about SOMETHING

if you applied one day
and blabbed the next
they could say you committed treason
because you shoulda known it was a threat to national security
and probably DID know
that's why you did it that way
in bad faith
and shoulda known better
thou treasonous jerk

i used to get regular email updates from some group called the orion project
for at least a coupla years
and i thought they were interesting
and then suddenly they stopped

i guess here's the reason

here ya go!
what'd i TELL ya?
i was just surmising the thing about charging one with treason
but, apparently, i was right on
(as usual hehehe)

(from the pisswikki site):

BILL JENKINS: Free Energy Machine. Live on Something's Happening. Audio cassette #A1008-90 $9.00 Bill Jenkins hosted the ABC radio "Open Mind" program for 7 years, the most popular program in the country in its time slot. He dealt with "New Age" topics and was taken off the air. Here he discusses the program and his adventures since, including a near arrest on treason charges for preparing to market a free energy machine.

oh God--i don't feel good
are we having fun yet?
is this fun?

well...i GUESS...kinda weird
KINDA fun
(if yer weird--which i guess i am--black sense of humor, and all---i've been TRYING to be reasonable...now i'm tryinta find the joke
with a microfrikkenscope)
oh God
i wisdom dwell with prudence
but prudence never does her share of the dishes

Oh God

barHAR--oh yeah--i like the way they show a big bullet hole next to every report that involves a murder
THAT's a cute touch
:{/

oh-and i REALLY liked the one where the lady was standing in line at the energy symposium meeting--and noticed two guys in front of her in line showing their ID cards indicating they were with the CIA, and then they threaten the guy as he's walking up to the podium

yeah right
no gravity wheel forum is ever monitored by anyone
naaaaw...
gee--why should it be?--oh other than the fact that bessler's wheel was a gravity wheel
and wasn't a hoax
which thing i happen to know for an absolute fact
and a gravity wheel as simple as SHIT would just be the energy cartels' biggest nightmare EVER
absolutely topping any other type of efficient energy device conceivable
(for ease of production, and potential for return)
yeah--there's THAT

but, other than that....

from that whoa link:

We have, in the last couple of weeks, created a very extensive file (including both audio and paper documents) that contains information relating to these events. In the event that anything happens to any of us (injury, false legal charges, disappearance, death), and we cannot go forward, copies of this information will be released to the public. The file includes every bit of information about the scientists who can do this work and are not allowed to as well as very reliable evidence and information about those involved in the suppression - names, addresses, phone numbers, specific details of actions.

We have contacts who can get it to the President, as well as the highest people in the media and Hollywood. And it will be released to you. We feel this is the best strategic step we can take because we cannot enter into protracted legal battles with these individuals with limitless money and power. Our one weapon - the best one we could have - is the truth, and the documentation we have of the truth.

the president?
BARRRRhar!
what a bunch of rubes
the frikin president is in on it
he took the most money of all
that's public damn record

ya know...
one of my internet business tycoon/hacker punk friends told me about this cutest little thing, once...sends out thousands of emails per minute

all routed thrrough untracable pathways

of course i just HAD to have it
liked it so much i ended up getting a peck of the buggers
oh it's too big and smelly to keep in my house
and cries all night like a friggin banshee
and farts a lot--(toxic fumes and all)
and the flashing lights are so blinding
and i need my sleep
so, yeh, i don't keep any of them here in me house-
-well i mean the mean sod hut i live in
so my crew--my posse of degenerates i grew up with
keep them for me
hehehe
i like to keep in touch with those bastard regularly
geez they're a hoot

"What should someone do with a solution? " is the title of the thread.

Let me just remind you of Jims plan of attack

1. Build a working wheel.

I believe the "solution" and "working wheel" should refer to an actual model. Since you don't have one, perhaps you can get an imaginary patent, and hire yourself an imaginary bodyguard to protect yourself from the imaginary illuminati...

"no
they tap the gravity that is forcing the water down the hill

the heat from the sun lifts the water back up
yes
but my idea doesn't need to lift anything back up

it just needs gravity to always be pulling down
which it always does

but thanks again for the pertinent response
now we're getting somewhere"

..........................................................................

You've drifted a bit from how gravity needs to always be pulling down. Perhaps you could elaborate on how you have acheived this solution and what to do with it?

If you do not make such claim, your patent application will be accepted, (not necessarily granted) without the need to show a working model.

Raj
Hey Raj,

I don't believe that is technically correct. From what I understand, even if you claim a device that is powered from some sort of alternative energy source, chances are good that the patent office will just assume that it amounts to a perpetual motion machine claim if the alleged source of energy isn't accepted by current science.

Let's say your device actually would work and would somehow continuously derive its power from gravity, for instance. The patent office would surely consider that a perpetual motion machine claim just like with all the "overbalanced wheel" attempts that have come before.

Now, I have seen some people argue that one should just try to patent a mechanism without any claim of excess energy at all so as to basically sneak an over unity device past the examiners.

That, of course, wouldn't be a very good idea because it wouldn't really give you the patent protection you need. (...not to mention that in some circumstances could possibly even be considered fraud, I guess.)

So, basically, it is the patent office that decides whether your claim is that of a perpetual motion machine and thus they decide whether they will need a working model.

Well, that's my understanding, at least, based upon years of reading.

Take care.

Dwayne

Furcurequs:

I admire your response to raj as it's clear, friendly and easy to read.

To complicate matters; it may be that an application for a patent can be a fraud; meaning the invention, not the inventor.

................................................................................................
"A rejection on the ground of lack of utility includes the more specific grounds of inoperativeness, involving perpetual motion. A rejection under 35 U.S.C. 101 for lack of utility should not be based on grounds that the invention is frivolous, fraudulent or against public policy.

Juicy Whip Inc. v. Orange Bang Inc., 185 F.3d 1364, 1367-68, 51 USPQ2d 1700, 1702-03 (Fed. Cir. 1999) ("[Y]ears ago courts invalidated patents on gambling devices on the ground that they were immoral…, but that is no longer the law…Congress never intended that the patent laws should displace the police powers of the States, meaning by that term those powers by which the health, good order, peace and general welfare of the community are promoted..."

..........................................................................................................

To further complicate matters, perhaps the enclosed law below is why there are so many patents in 415/916 - perpetual motion; considering none of them are.

..........................................................................................................

"If an invention is only partially successful in achieving a useful result, a rejection of the claimed invention as a whole based on a lack of utility is not appropriate."

Hi everybody!

As far as I know, a patent application is a HUMBLE request to the Patent Office for the grant of patent rights.

I do not think there is anything fraudulent or illegal about making such request.

It is for the Patent Office to either accept or reject your patent application.
Granting or not granting patent rights, is another thing which may take years.

I don't know much about US patent appplication.
But I have made several UK patent applications for my gravity wheel designs, found on this forum, which are presently ' Patent Pending'
