Hi path-finder
I cannot understand the movie file.
Can you explain about it?
How it rotate?

SK
I don't say I can do it, I do it until I can.

Dear seqeen,
It is exactly my own concern.

edited:
IMO the rollers are here for holding the COG away from the wheel center.
The point is: how to oblige the rod to keep its position: if the L weight is to much heavy, it will collide with the ground, and if the K weight is to much heavy the system will go to a keeling balanced position. This is the reason why the guy is obliged to control the position with his hand.
No surprise this design was almost unknown.

sequeen ,
There is no way this setup can rotate , exept if there is a motor in the one big black wheel and a electrical switch in the connecting point of the ball weight , notice as the operator moves the bar down , the main wheel is allready moving in the opposite direction of movement , this cannot be as the main wheel would move in the same direction as the bar for it is clamped by the springs on the small wheel's bracket . The B wheels and the C wheels seem to be solid so there is no deformation or position changed in the bar as it goes down . Why do you need the ball weight if the pivot's of B wheels is fixed , they cannot change position , gravity has no effect on the orientation of the bar , there must be a Mercury switch in the bar . As good as it look's , it must be a imposter .

I am very confuse.
Who is right?
Path-finder said it is real.
But daanopperman said it is imposter.
IMO it is very difficult to believe the movie.

Where did you find this? I never said it was real.
In addition I explained why (in the attached drawing).

I agee with you daanopperman, it is not possble to self rotate, he/she is employing something else to make it move.
This user from youtube (veproject1) likes this kind of tricks, here is another example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkLfpXpO5sQ
So sequeen just take it as a mind excercise and try to solve how he made the trick to make it look real.
I told you so...

Note that wheel "D" appears to have more friction than the others, as seen when he manually turns them. Also you will note that "D" stalls or does not move with the other three. It appears to have very little pressure riding on it.

Question; is this intentional?

When first started, the main wheel seemed to instantly reach a steady speed, which is not what I would expect in any legitimate machine. It smells of a hidden motor, IMHO. I would be willing to bet the huge base it is mounted on is not empty.

This guy makes a lot of devices that show the concept of various perpetual motion machines. They are all fake, as stated on the company website. They make them for schools I believe, to help teach kids!
They are always a nice quality build though :)
