Perpetual Pendulum?
Would a pendulum that never stops be considered as perpetual motion? Would this defy the "laws" of thermodynamics? I have designed a pendulum that gets a kick with every swing. Once started it actually gains momentum and keeps going. This is what I have figured out. How much of an impact would this be? Would it be worth revealing to the world? Just wondering if this would be enough to change those rigid rules imposed by the science big wigs.
BTW...what's up with those wigs back in Bessler's time. I guess it made a comeback back with those 80's hair bands!

It would be PM if you had a physical build of it. A pendulum could be used in a piston action to drive a flywheel.

One Perpetual pendulum.
Two Permanent magnet motors.
Two Gravity wheels.
Two generators.
Yet to build in reality. All work in Sim.
I have a four day weekend this weekend and the wife will be leaving for a week next week so my builds are going to going be reality soon! I figure the simple ones first and then the more complicated ones will be done by a team here in Quebec. Wish me luck!

Hi!
If we have in mind a variable (pulsatory...) counterweight pendulum,or a pendulum with a moveable counterweight,I think we are on the straight-way to imagine the "dream" engine.
The starting image ,can be that of the German-made metronome with sliding counterweight (Witter Taktel Piccolo Metronome at : www.fluteexchange.com ).
If you diversify this basic "leitmotif",recurring scheme you can get so many others...Milkovic's oscillator is one of them ,only.
One change must be done:imagine rotating,not swinging.

Yes I saw the Pendulum! It is cool. My design is different though.
It is much easier to make a sim then building the real thing. Magnets tend to bend the metal if not made strong enough. Once it is out of the repelling field it all of sudden attracts. A sim does not bend like a thing piece of metal. I really have to think this in every detail. You are right a sim can get the general idea but a real build will take some time to iron out the bugs!

This can be a starting point to stimulate your imagination,in the most simple manner and to make easy tests,especially...
Sure,we have in mind to detemine a self rotation due to gravity and inertia...
