yeah--but if his invention works HE could be the big captain capa
hell he could FORCE people to take the money
with a gun to their head
he could do everything just the opposite of the way the nations of the eargh do stuff now
he'd be such popular hot shit
you think anyone would let their country screw with him?
hell no--they'd just all be trying to leave their country and join his
you think anyone wouldn't join?
one could have a nation of luxery liners--thousands and tens of thousands of them
untill you could eventually build yer own island out there somewhere
or hell, on the moon, or an asteroid or something
his idea doesn't need gravity
if it works as he says
it would work in outer space
Jesus! think big!--you'd have unlimited free polutionless energy
whatya wanT a damn pretzel in yer beer?
(hehe)
anything i can do to help
i could be the drug enforcement minister
i'd make sure everyone was forced to take all their drugs
don't y'all realize that :
just as a little matter is actually made of a huge amount of energy:
conversely: if you have enough energy, you can create matter
ANY kinda matter
it'd be like forbidden planet, mon

While employed with the Army Corps Of Engineers i was a member of the PTO trades union. We received double time for anything over 40 hours per week and triple time if called out on a Sunday. We also got half time extra if working over a set height on power lines. It just irks me how much taxes the government takes (by force) from people. Why is it legal for the government to take your money by threatening force against you if you fail to pay up, while a street thug can be sent to prison for taking money by threatening force against you if you fail to pay up. Why is it legal in one case while illegal in the other case?

Well, the way I see it is that the government that can forcibly take our tax dollars if we earn more than a certain amount of money is also the government that is tasked with the obligation to enforce our temporary monopoly rights to our inventions so that we can actually make our money. So, it's best just to think of the taxes as one of the necessary costs of doing (big) business.
Also, without a national infrastructure (that was built and needs to be maintained with tax dollars) and the ability to reap the benefits of a national and even international market, we wouldn't be making much money, anyway.
I think I'd rather, then, be worried about what I was going to do with the half billion dollars I get to keep rather than whether I'll have enough money to buy my groceries.
Now, I would have to question, however, the wisdom of those in government - our "public servants" - who would waste billions and even trillions of our tax dollars to blow up poor people in tents thousands of miles away when that money could be better spent doing creative and helpful things rather than destructive and harmful ones.
If I did have to "give unto Caesar," though (okay, sorry Jim), I'd also surely have to give Caesar a piece of my mind.
So, if a bunch of psychopathic, lying and corrupt pricks choose to misuse my (hopefully rather big) tax dollars to destroy young lives while trying to prop up their own pompous, egotistical, warmongering selves - even while perhaps saying they represent or are protecting me - I'm calling them out!
(Okay, what was the modern day version of crucifixion, again? ...oh, well...)

Did Tesla die wealthy? Armstrong was awarded 1% of what his patent was worth. Don't play the game. If we can irrigate the deserts and generate our power with no fuel then governments wont have an incentive to steal resources from those who cannot defend themselves. If there is peace and everyone is fed you have been paid. The rest is ego, self indulgence.Dwylbtzle wrote:yeah--but if his invention works HE could be the big captain capa

Not knowing is not the problem. It is the knowing of what just isn't so.

yes--the governments, and corporatons have no interest in everyone having free energy
but if you slipped it past them--then there would be plenty of everything to go around
instead of thinking like meth monkeys and trying to scrabble and scrape and TAKE stuff
our concerns would be what to do with unlimited abundance
so here's my question:
if it works we're gods
if it happens not to, are we not?
and, if it does, would we still perhaps just be monkeys with just higher grade designer meth?--and designer eveything else?
the movie FORBIDDEN PLANET didn't turn out too well
(except you get to see Anne Francis skinnydipping when she was 19)
;)
hey--THIS could make you contemplete miracles:

No Tesla did not die wealthy, he died penniless and the State of New York paid for his burial. A perfect example of how not to run a business based on your inventions.
Edison and Westinghouse coursed him into giving them the rights to his patents, he ended up working for them. Westinghouse cut him off at the pockets leaving him with nothing.

Tesla's achievements and his abilities as a showman demonstrating his seemingly miraculous inventions made him world-famous. Although he made a great deal of money from his patents, he spent a lot on numerous experiments over the years. In the last few decades of his life, he ended up living in diminished circumstances as a recluse in Room 3327 of the New Yorker Hotel, occasionally making unusual statements to the press.] Because of his pronouncements and the nature of his work over the years, Tesla gained a reputation in popular culture as the archetypal "mad scientist". He died penniless and in debt on 7 January 1943.

To build a company based on your invention, one needs to familiarize themselves with the history and growth of the following companies:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bechtel
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westinghou ... ic_Company
The downfall of Tesla.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Electric
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siemens
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Hughes
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_R._Hughes,_Sr.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Jobs
There are more, but this should make my point. For what it is worth, Hughes Sr. never sold his drill bits, he leased them. when they wore out, he would take them back and rebuild them. IIRC he never licensed any other company to manufacture his invention.

As I've stated in the past, I'm not anti-religion. I have my own strong religious beliefs and also strong political beliefs. But this forum is not the time or place for such discussions.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven, a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.
Injecting religion into perpetual motion discussions kills the discussion as it relates to perpetual motion. Often it ignites religious rants, which then kills the discussion. This forum is read by many people of many faiths from many countries. The discussions here should be about perpetual motion wheels and should not include religion.
You've been warned.
Very well, Mr. Jim....Tell me, what you intend to do as your wise stewardship of a fortune worth possibly as much as $200 Trillion US when you decide to apply for patent and make public your version of the OU Bessler Wheel method?
Sit on it?
Help the poor of the Earth as much as possible?
None of the above?
What?
You have been asked.
PS You are not the only man on the face of this planet who has a good guess about how a Bessler Wheel can be made to turn with centrifugal force only.
Or with gravity only.
Or with both.
You have been informed.

Mr Jim.....
This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no f...in around.......
This is deadly serious business about men who may already know how to turn the wheel and will use the financial results to help humanity versus those who don't know how to turn the wheel but would withhold the reward from humanity in general if they did know.
I think I know how.
I think you don't know how although you obviously know how to bluff.
Tell me what you would do to help humanity, as a gift to humanity, if somehow I came and whispered into you ear how to turn the wheel.
I did not come here to try to get elected Miss Congeniality and so if all the demons in Hell throw red dots at me that is nothing new. And nothing unexpected.

re: Bessler's wheel as a 'gift' to mankind.
WTF!
Mr. Jim said...."Delusions and religions seem to go hand in hand. You would not believe the religious ranting that can develop when a person is infected with both perpetual motion and religious strains of delusion."
Mr. Jim calls perpetual motion a [/i]delusion.
And Mr. Jim expects to command the respect of zealous researchers who believe that perpetual motion is entirely possible in a Bessler Wheel.
Blue me and woo me and tattoo me and call me confused.
I seriously believe that perpetual motion free energy is possible and I think that I know how to turn the wheel and I think that Mr. Jim does not have a clue about turning a wheel.
You want your thread to be about what? The title does not say it is about a wheel. The title says it is about THE GIFT TO MANKIND.
Tell me what Mr Jim will do TO HELP MANKIND when I tell him how to turn a wheel.[/b]

Get over it. Drop the subject. Stop trolling for replies. Admit you made a bad judgment call. Or not. Simply move on. Stop compounding your original error by squabbling about it.
Mr Jim, it is way past time for YOU to get over it.
If you want to stick to the title of your thread, tell us what you will do as a gift to mankind with your $200 Trillion US after I or somebody has taught you how to turn the wheel and vanished to let you be the inventor.

Mr. Jim, you are the one who is not getting the message.
The Bible words I quoted are the feelings from my heart concerning what I would do as A GIFT TO MANKIND. I have felt this way for a long time as a result of my maturing as a social unit and not as a persuasion from any religion. Is "A Gift To Mankind" the title of your thread? Did you forget?
It does not matter if these same feelings were said by Jesus, by Buddha, by the old piyute Wovaka or by Joe The Plumber.
Tell us what you would do AS A GIFT TO MANKIND if I taught you how to turn a wheel and then vanished to let you pretend to know how to turn a wheel and pass go and collect $200 Trillion US.
