Basic Pm Idea

re: Basic Pm Idea
well, it was once reported that bessler had a wheel sitting out in a field pumping water for crops
(i think it was reported that he'd claimed that
but i don't know that he ever really did
and even if the wheel was real, i pretty much doubt he'd just leave one working out there
since he DID go to the grave with his "secret"...
so
you do the math
think he'd be more careful and less trusting than THAT)

re: Basic Pm Idea
you know dwyzbtle, I guess everybody is missing the obvious just like you are.
Bessler tried demonstrating how if we used a motor to power machines, it could be a labor saving invention.
And with any wheel that uses any clever arrangement of levers will have no over balance nor any under balance.
edited to add; dwzle, since you know so much about science, answer this one question for me please,
If you were to rotate a wheel with 8 weighted levers, how much energy (torque) would you lose at their fulcrums whenever tbay swung downward ?
I'll answer it for you, it's the pump I'm building.

Dwylbtzle,
There is something that you are ignoring.
First and foremost, I started this thread to discuss what I am working on.
All you have are your rants. Tbe basic idea is not Bessler's wheel as you claimed.
I don't think flaming should be allowed in here. The only thing you have been doing is trying to drag me into an argument with you because you don't know anything.
And I know it doesn't matter to you that this is something I can do on my own because what I am going to build is not an easy build to do.
I think it shows what kind of person you are when you act hurt because your harassment doesn't get you the attention you want.
Still, I could be wrong. To understand a new application in engineering requires people to accept that tbere is something to be learned.
I can show posts from 3 or 4 years ago where I was working on this and ab hammer was saying the same things you are now.
One thing they would see is where I better understand it today.
I'll post a link to the "discussion" with ab hammer later today.

AB hammer says; By the way Jim. How are you going to keep your wheel from doing this as show in the picture below? For what I see this is all you are going to get. Like I said I only want to talk wheel.
@All, the picture is at the bottom. I guess ideally a weight on a lever uses leverage to pump the water. Something it seems Alan doesn't really seem to understand. But it does get old having people say prove it and not much more.
@All,

Besides I don't want to be apart of any of your wheels. The only reason I offered to help your build is to try to shut you up on what has no chance in hell of being a runner
http://www.overunity.com/7150/sjack-abe ... #msg232875
And that is where people who really have nothing worth discussing turn everybody else off. And at one time I posted a picture showing one way the weights might work together. After all, the weights/lever combination will fall 2 times per revolution. Once on the way down and again when moving upward when they fall towards the center of the wheel.
edited to add; as I told one gal I know, I hope to change the Veteran's Administrations policy that a hearing loss is not a ratable disability.
I think it is other wise I might not have had the time to go over details other people did not have the time for.
Besides, if I had normal hearing, I probably would've had a degree in electronics or design engineering and had a very different life.
But then I do not think I should be faulted for trying to over come obstacles in life. it's a lot better than buying a gun to try and solve my problems and besides, I prefer engineering to doing crossword puzzles. Not sure why that would be a problem.

re: Basic Pm Idea
@All,
it's not easy trying to build a round wheel like this.
the long lever would be inside of the wheel while the pump would be the rim.
if you read Bessler's poetica apologia, you can see that he said his rim was not a normal rim.
Still, will take my time. I think my health is a bit more important and am really tired of experts who post no work and have no patience to discuss something. Of which I would say that forum's such as this are meant to be places where idea's are discussed.
And if you could consider the straight upright board as being curved, then as water would be pumped upwards, the pump would rotate downward and move under bottom center.
edited to change pics.
Not to sound bitchy everyone, but I really don't feel well so will probably stay away for a while.

re: Basic Pm Idea
Dude-if besslers wheel is real EVERYONE 's missing something
and when someone question's your parade of diagrams and blithering
with even so much as a question
your only counter is insults and acrimony and another dish of blither
quite a passle so far for someone's who's put me on ignore seventy five times
and yet keeps popping back in when he wants to fling another insult
and then duck away again
that's not the scientific method
make your pump and be damned sir
then come back when you turn it into a wheel with an arm coming out of it
pumping itself
and i will shoot it
but i hope you feel better soon
this is a brutal business

hammers are magic levers
and when that's all you have
everything looks like a magic nail
oh so now i'm a fascist
any more insults that prove yer pump?
you don't like anyone not agreeing with you
that's clear

so, if murilo teaches you how to chant up a damn voodoo leverager
all bets are off, too
it might work but it'll be the devil
Not sure how you think that sounds like a joke.
As to your statement about the hammers in your last post;
hammers are magic levers
And a video clip on youtube from the movie The Wall.
You were insinuating that I am a fascist. You know, trying to teach everyone how to march in step. In the movie, that is what it represents and why you posted a picture of it.
You probably didn't think I would know what I was looking at. That one is more obvious than Bessler's drawings.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byZvVeuzsbo
and the picture is the one that dwyztble posted. And all, it is if you download it, pinkfloydhammers.
I think this is ironic because the song and movie The Wall are about not being another brick like dwyztble but about the willingness to maintain your own personal identity.
An example with me and believing that I understand how Bessler's wheel worked for Bessler. I could say other wise so dwytzble would like me and be accepting of me but he is not the kind of person I would wish to associate myself with.
And all, as tired as I am of saying it, with Bessler's wheel, the secret comes not from pumping the water but how leveraged force is used to do it. Still, using water in the way he did is ingenious and the leverqaging would be realized.
With Mt 125 and Bessler's clue about having a working wheel using only 2 weights is probably a false clue to get one interested in looking vfor something that might work if pulleys were used along with levers.
Once curiosity is peaked about a certain concept, then a more efficient method of applying it might be considered. Still, if you look at Mt 67 which has filled bellows on it's right side should give an idea of what makes sense.
And if you look at Mt 66, it has on it's right side the same piece that lifts the threshers. Also, Mt 66 is quite similar to Mt 125. With Mt 127, the bellows go through the hub instead of using a tube.
And lastly, Mt 80 which is a water wheel. And once again notice that the A is something other than an A.
Of course, the question could be why did Bessler include so many water wheels in his drawings when they're not mentioned in his writings.
Still, as I always told Alan, a person needs to be in good health to build a Bessler type wheel. While it is a lot of work, if a person enjoys there hobby and what they are doing, then there is much to like about it.
it's a matter of perspective. Myself, I do like Bessler's work and wouldn't mind seeing different types of his wheels built. I think with each person that would build one that it will be unique because of what they can do with it.

came in page 5--whatever-
-didn't say a word about yer wheel till you started saying proving a pump works would prove you could make a wheel work (forever)
said it wouldn't
that apparently destroyed your mind with outrage
the pink floyd pic was a joke about levers marching in the line
period
learn to live with the above or whatever alternative you can manage to come up with fer yerseff
yer not gonna change any of it gurgling and wailing

Dwytbzle,
Why don't you quit lying ? That might help.
Those hammers are your way of insinuting I'm a fascist and I know it.
You posted that right after you keep to simple God fearing machines and basically called Bessler's wheel a tool of the Devil's.
I know you are afraid of my explaining bow something can work.
Unlike you, I'm not posting an opinion I just thought of after I got online.
My opinion about Bessler's wheel is based on education that I have and you don't.
Also, I have spent time doing builds to understand what might be practical.
Bessler did say it was necessary to learn from bitter experience. In reality, only people like you and Alan have been bitter.
Alan actually claimed to ne a prophet at one time, claimed to have visions.
Your religious references makes me wonder. It seems people like you two ignore the fact that Bessler was religious and was most likely a Freemason.
Kind of wonder why you two have no respect for Bessler's work or religious beliefs.

and who can neither GET nor TAKE a joke
would say i meant anything other than a joke about marching magic levers

you know what i think, now?
better even than myself?
prove it
prove that lever wheel too, while yer at it

dwyzle,
Are you a woman ? While I don't drink, you remind me of one of those women known as abolitionists. I guess if the shoe fits.
Of course they were well intentioned but as for you, you are out to force yourbeliefs on me. And that I do have a problem with.
I didn't start this thread to discuss your supposed religious beliefs.

nice (try) dodge
once again
it was a JOKE
J. O. K. E.
no religious content (priggy)
now you think you insult me by calling me a woman? (misogynist)
look it up
and you didn't come here to discuss anything
clearly
especially if it involves anyone quetioning yer "science"
go ahead
make that wheel and heap coals of shame upon my head
(if you can--because you can't)
that's the only way yer gonna do it
not by red herrings and straw man accusations
the only one discussing any religious beliefs is you telling me what i have in my head--and then denying it's true
that's a bit paranoid
********************
i went into a bar the other day
and i told the bartender: "hey i have a good smith joke, ya aren't a smith, are you?"
"naw--but that big black guy is--and that speed freak flipping the sledge hammer in the corner is
and that huge biker over there is...so if they don't worry you...go ahead and tell it"
"naw--that's alright--i wouldn't wanna have to explain it 66 times"

dwyzt,
The only thing you've been explaining is how your opinion is the only one that matters.
And unlike you, I don't claim to be making jokes about people I don't know or their work.
Since you consider Bessler is a fraud (remember, you said Newton is not wrong about perpetual motion) makes me think that one of us is in the wrong place and it's not me.
Just because I am making my work and thoughts on Bessler known in no way gives you the right to harass me.
All it shows is that you have little or no respect for other people.
