Personally I could not care less if the government spys on me or not. I live an average life. They would not find anything exiting from my laptop.

The problem is that when goverments have power they always abuse it.

Instead of hiding, you should be doing the exact opposite. They may have a lot of data storage, so it is incumbent on everybody's part to overload their system and fill it with spam (which should only take a couple of years.... ;-)

Another thing to do is add garbage code to your emails:

Surfing the science forums, this topic was discussed. A simple text msg can be analyzed by NSA for words, etc very quickly and stored easily. Pictures, on the other hand are different and take a lot more bits to store. It would take more effort but the entire system can be overwhelmed if everyone would write the email, take a picture of it, then delete the email and attach the picture to any msg to send out. I don't believe their search engine works on pictures. Just an interesting concept.

You are right regarding the limits of the image analysis. The NSA/PRISM cannot do anything at all if in addition these images include a steganographic process:

In France this method is forbidden by the law.
Therefore all the interesting data are out of control by the NSA. Indeed the monitoring of the lambda people is useless and a lost of money for the taxpayers.
