Just give it away?

re: Just give it away?
Ok...
To summerize imo...
If you think you'll get even that far "in the radar" of a capitalist society...
Go for it... its your head...
The objective of a free realease is an easy and uninhibited flow of information, not "pay per use" licencing agreements and "such"...
simplicity vs. complexity...
which one is more reliable... in this context.
Given the rarity of a working model, does one really give an idea of such proportions to the lesser odds...
To take an achievement that has fought so hard "against the odds" and subject it again... "against the odds" is imo...
against the odds...

Go for it Jim, it's YOUR plan, YOUR ideas & therefore YOUR choices to be made.
I think the point has been made b4 by Jim that the common man, like myself, will be able to build one in my garage probably without having to pay licence fees etc, but then who cares - I'd pay it gladly for the privilege. You probably couldn't stop the tinkerer anyway & would you really want to ?
If you want to control & exploit its commercial use - you pay !
To John Collins in particular
Your latest addition to the fray is very interesting & puts a new spin on things.
So does Mr Gates, Ellison, Buffer, Carmen (insert appropriate name) need a working wheel or simply sketches or plans approved by a qualified engineering consultant like yourself (with prerequisite Bessler experience) that show clearly the "principle" beyond reasonable doubt ? Does he trust you to authenticate for them ?
To everybody : Remember Karl was flabbergasted at how simple it was & JB himself worried that he wouldn't be paid once the "principle" were known, as it was simple.
So the "principle" should be very obvious shouldn't it ? It probably could be adequately explained on the back of a cigarette pack ? But is that enough standard of proof so that the benefactors can make a down payment & then R & D it to its full potential.
Jim has the imagination, intelligence & ability to take it to POP. Others who might have a valid principle may not be able to build so this route would make things seriously easier for them imo. You only need to get it past John :)

re: Just give it away?
I've been away for a few days, and wow! things have picked up :)
Jim, You're talking as if you have a working wheel? I just read through loads of posts but couldn't see one where you make a claim like that,
so do you? or is it that you belive that your onto it? If you have - Congratulations.
As for 'giving it away' I think that is the wrong way to look at it, I think sharing it is a better one but everyone has the right to make there own choice. Please though if you have a working wheel make sure that it can not to be lost again no matter what happens.

re: Just give it away?
Trev,
I don't have a working model. WM2D will not simulated a compression latch. So I've put together pieces of simulations. I've also done physics calculations as a double check. Both those show that the principle works. As a final proof I'm building a prototype. I don't move as fast as I used to so it may take a while. I'm also making patent drawing and writing a patent application.

Hi Fletcher, I've been holding on to this offer for quite a while and if anyone writes to me with what sounds like a good idea, with their permission I forward the information to this professor, with their contact details. So far, as I said somewhere else, I have only passed on two designs in the last five years or so. Neither design worked. To John Collins in particular

I don't claim to be an expert but common sense is a useful commodity and I have some I think, and I also have experience of a huge number of potential designs which did not work out. If I think he will be interested I pass it on but I'm not the only path to this guy, it's just that he doesn't want me to advertise his name in case he then becomes the magnet for every would-be PM designer. I'm a kind of filter I guess. He may be in contact with others in this field who are also keeping their contact with him to themselves at his request.

Gentlemen !
You have someone on your board who already have working wheel and when he tray to tell everyone how is achievable you completely dismiss him . So I think there are thousands of working wheels and every one is different in its performance and even if you give away - the so call " secret " no one is listening or wants to know.

re: Just give it away?
There are certainly thousands of PM gravity wheels out there...but, I still have not seen any that actually work! But, I believe that it can be done and I look forward to the day when someone, maybe even a member of this discussion board, can announce here that their device was submitted to an independent laboratory for analysis and testing and that he (or she), like Bessler has an "official" certificate of some sort that verifies that their device is, in fact, genuine! That day will be as significant in history as was the day the Wright Brothers flew at Kitty Hawk or Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon or the first nuclear explosion was triggered at Alamagordo, New Mexico...the WORLD will never be the same after!

On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ

HI JIM.
WHEN YOU BROUGHT UP MY COUNTRYMAN NIKOLA TESLA,THAT MADE SOMEHOW PERSONAL CONNECTION WITH ME!..I SEE THAT YOU KNOW GREAT DEAL ABOUT TESLAÂ’S WORK AND LIFE!..
HE WAS TROLLY MOTHER OF THEM ALL, WHEN COMES TO “FREE ENERGY”.
HE HAD JUST SO INCREDIBLE VISUALIZATION OF HIS INVENTIONS THAT HE WORKED ALL THE “BUGGS” OUT IN HIS MIND BEFORE BUILDING PROTOTYPE, AND BY TIME HE HAD IT BUILT ,IT WORKED THE FIRST TIME!!!????......
JIM!,..TESLA WOULD BE ABLE TO LOOK AT YOUR PERPETUAL WHEEL ,AND TELL YOU WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY IF WOULD WORK OR NOT, IN MATTER OF MINUTES!!??...
FOR ANY HONORABLE FORUM MEMBERS, WHO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE OF TESLA LIFE AND WORK HERE IS LINKOF SITE, WITH HIS SHORT AUTOBIOGAPHY

re: Just give it away?
The biggest conspiracy against 'free-energy' is not the people at top.
IT'S NATURES LAWS!
So, if the up-top-folks get nervous, when someone even starts trumpeting free-energy, you can only imagine what they will do when when you actually HAVE IT!! (fear argument again, I know I know)
Listen, who's is going to finance you? Some secluded altruist with more money then he can spend in several life times? That guy is just as vulnerable to losing his millions as you are to losing you head.
EVER HEARD OF RAPID INFLATION, OR HYPERINFLATION?
Millions today might buy you an ice-cream tomorrow!!!
Think about this, as you begin building you are starting out in TODAYS ECONOMY, and by the time you are finished (maybe for good :), you are operating in TOMORROWS ECONOMY, if you even get there.
Ever noticed how the markets change when one guy speaks out? (I hate that bow tie buffoon, says he is lowering interest rates to contain "inflation" and look what happened to housing, shot up through the roof , if that's not inflation I don't know what is. Now he's saying he is raising interest rates to , what do you know, contain inflation, what a freaking looser, oh wait, that's me, grrrrrrrr) How about a large announcement of free energy? As the markets drop and people loose suicidal amounts of money in one day, due to a little dude out in the country (how tall are you jim_mitch LOL), you can only imagine what will happen to you. You'll need the US military to protect you (just hope they don't own oil stocks LOL)
Hello, anybody home? How many people are geting killed in IRAQ today?
food for thought, that's all

re: Just give it away?
I'm a little over six foot and a little over 200 pounds so I don't think I qualify as a little dude. Also my user name is jim_mich (not jim_mitch) because my name is Jim and I live in Michigan not far from the University of Michigan. I understand there once was an unsavory Mitch poster on the older Bessler forum.jtolan wrote:As the markets drop and people loose suicidal amounts of money in one day, due to a little dude out in the country (how tall are you jim_mitch LOL)
re: Just give it away?
Hey Jim I saw on another thread that you were working on latches for your project. Are these latches required to eliminate the weights rebounding when they hit the home position?

re: Just give it away?
Graham,
Hmmm... let me think, how can I answer your question without jeoprardizing potential patent rights? Most ask questions about my wheel because they fear I'm working on something similar to what they're working on. I try to answer them and put their mind at ease but without risking loss of potential patent rights.
First, I'm not sure what a home position would be?
Second, it is very difficult to discuss the latches without discussing details of why and what they must do. I think the most I can say is the latches control when a weight can or can't move.

Abandon the idea that you will reveal the idea here to the grand applause of the members... its not gonna happen...
here we have some of the most learned in the field of PM... but with genius often comes madness...
Some of us are so specialized in our niche methods, we assume totality of scope...
If you do have it but are not willing to share... it would seem you may be among good company, this seems to be the mantra of the bessler-curse...

Jim,
Say no more on this public site about how your wheel works, anything in the public domain will be used against you.
Pete.

re: Just give it away?
Jim thanks for your reply and it was as cagey as I expected :-). From what you said I suspect that your idea is probably not the same as the one that I have.
If I might make one request it would be that you intensify your efforts to complete your prototype as soon as possible and put us all out of our misery, we need an answer.
I wonder what makes you so sure when as you said you could not run it on your simulator ???
Best of luck to you
Graham
