Oops!
I have lost a 'greenie'!
Someone didnot like what I posted yesterday.
Have I posted anything offensive to anybody?
I stand corrected.
My red circle and green circle (both wheels) will rotate at the same RPM.
That is the wheel and the offset hub, rotate at the same rpm, just as a normal wheel on its centered hub does.
The wheel and the offset hub, should force elbowed apokes change radial length as the wheel rotates.
Adding swinging weights in this setup, should or could force wheel in continuous overbalance.
Thanks to Chris and Ralph again.

To all following this thread!
In the next few hours, I am going to post my would-be RUNNER with full details and drawing/s as usual

re: Mayday! Mayday!!!
This could be, ultimately, my RUNNER?
All follows from my previous/last design/drawing posted in here.
We have a drum wheel with its inner rim swinging/resting on secondary hubs while its central hub can rotate freely on the axle.
Weights swing freely hanging on the joints where rigid arms at 45 degrees intervals on the outer rim of drum wheel , connect with flexible/string arms on the central hub.
The total mass of the wheel and the weights swing downwards from the central hub, whereby the weight at the six o'clock position on the rigid arm is pulled upwards and hooked(by a system, not not shown here), and travel on the ascending side, up to the 12 o'clock position, keeping the same position on the wheel.
From The 12 o'clock position to the 6 o'clock position on the descending side, the weights can swing freely outwards a bit, providing some net positive torque through their motion, to unbalance the wheel.

I now think I have got something fundamentally wrong in this design. I do not know if it can be changed.
Keep learning till the end.

raj,
please listen to me. You cannot induce self supporting rotation through the displacement of weights within a closed system, no matter the ingenuity of design.
The summation of forces will always equal zero.

re: Mayday! Mayday!!!
I am very, very, very happy with my design NOW.
I had some misgiving about my previous TORQUE calculation.
After wrecking my brain over the last two days, I can confirm that my wheel would be overbalanced through 360 degrees rotation.
All it needed was an additional element to the design.
@ CHRIS!
Upteenth times people have posted on this forum that gravity wheel will NEVER work.
I don't think that this should be repeated non=stop.
Any body who has the least basic elementay physics knowledge (like me), should have heard of the most FAMOUS quote in physical science:
'' Energy can neither be created nor destryed.''
SO what the HECK are we all trying to do here?

You can investigate PM and still believe and accept that energy can't be created from nothing.
PM will be achieved by uses additional forces available which exist away from the limitations of Gravity OB.
If u believe Gravity to be the fuel then that is entirely a matter for you.
I don't however anymore.

I will leave the deductive math up to you, to see that both are not traveling at the same RPM.

Do not thank me just yet! you still seem confused. The red and green will turn at the same velocity, but as long as they are of different circumference, they will not travel at the same RPMMy red circle and green circle (both wheels) will rotate at the same RPM.

re: Mayday! Mayday!!!
My dear Ralph,
You still deserves my sincere thanks, because your contributions are deemed to be constructive and educative.
I maintain that the two wheels will turn at the same rpm.
The wheels are connected to each other by strings/cords at 45 degrees intervals starting from the 12 o'clock positions of both wheels.
The smaller wheel is on FIX axle,
The larger wheel hang/swing downwards on the smaller wheel, because of its mass and the mass of the weights combined is pulled downwards by gravity, whereby, the string at the 6 o'clock stretches fully and pulls the smaller wheel to turn with the larger wheel.
Every 45 degrees turn of the larger wheel, the string/cord passing the 6 o'clock position will stretch and pull/force the smaller wheel to turn 45 degrees as well. That is at the same RPM.
I rest my case.
Raj
EDIT: I have reached 1000 posts in here today. I wonder if it served any purpose!

Clearly if the small wheel isn't physically engaged with the large wheel at the point of contact shown, then through gears say, you can get both to turn at the same RPM. I accept that.

Dear raj,
Don't be anxious, no one gave any red dot to you.
I have observed in the past, when you give a certain amount of red dots to another members, this decreases your own number of green dots (may be you are suspected by the system to be a controversial or violent element of the forum?).

I cannot imagine why nobody though on this before, including myself? It is so simple!...
Members will from time to time move up or down from category to category indirectly, because of people giving red or green dot to other people.raj wrote:Oops!

The system is setup so that a certain percentage of members will end up in each category. So if someone who was below you suddenly gets a bunch of green dots, that member might move upward on the list, thus bumping you into a lower category. And the reverse is true. A more respected member might lose reputation and drop into a lower category, and this might cause someone to get bumped upward.
So when you see yourself bouncing between categories, it doesn't necessarily mean people are pressing your buttons. It simply means you are borderline between the two categories.
I have thought it might be interesting to see actual reputation scores, and the demarcations between categories. But such knowledge might cause unintended consequences.
Giving green dots does not take green dots from you. But giving red dots does lower your score. Thus if a newbie arrives and gives everyone a red dot, his actions could possibly lower his own rating from neutral into the red-dot range.
Also, if you get a green dot from a member who has a lot of green dots, then it boosts your score more than getting green dotted by someone with little of no green dots.

re: Mayday! Mayday!!!
Raj,
I am of the same opinion as Chris. Currently, I also believe that gravity alone will not create PM. Initially, I believed it could be possible when I first started experimenting decades ago. It wasn't until the last couple of years that I realized gravity alone could not do it. I came to that conclusion without ever having to build a wheel. However, I did lots of experiments, built mechanisms, and made calculations. Basically, I've always been able to disprove any concept I've ever had. No matter how I looked at it, regardless of the design, simple or complicated, the same amount of energy gained in lowering a weight was always the same amount used to bring it back up. Although I had many of my own ideas and did most of my own work, more than anything ,what has influence my present beliefs came from the work presented here by other members.
I have spent the last 40 years working for small companies, start-ups, and I'm still at it. I do lots of things, including mechanical designing. Unlike large companies, small companies do not have the luxury of being able to spend enormous amounts of time and money experimenting and building prototypes. Most of what I do has to work the first time, although like most people I still make my fair share of mistakes. When designing something new, it's very easy to think we have come up with the greatest thing since sliced bread. We get so wrapped up in why something works, that we oversee why it won't. My approach to designing is to make every effort to come up with the best design, then turn right around and spend even more energy to discredit it. I try to find everything wrong with it that I can. I then fix the problems or start over before continuing on to the next step. You have to become your own worst enemy. It's kind of like having a split personality. It's not easy to do and I don't believe most people can do it, but that's how I've been able to keep gainfully employed in such demanding work environments.
Although I've previously expressed my opinion about your current design, I would never ever discourage you or anyone else from the pursuit of their ideas or how they go about it. We are all different and we all have our ways of learning and doing things. After all, if and when the secret of PM is found, we will still need the experience gained here and a good mechanical design to make it all work.
