This is the wrong forum! You need to post this on a choice of forums dealing with electric motors, solenoids and magnets.

I met Bill in the 1970's, to my knowledge I was one of the last persons he called on the phone before he died in 2004!

If you think you have something new, forget it, micro controlled solenoid designs date back to fur lined bathtubs to keep the water warm. Muller patented it in or about 1978.

Plus! your oversize image has over run the margin setting of this thread. You really get a kick out of pissing people off, don't you?

I found some info from Lawrence Tseung. Seems like theres lots of ways to implement this.
