The real purpose of this thread and all others like it is to be respected and admired for a non-patentable fantasy concept that exists only in a computer program based on faulty physics that Jim never plans to build and that Jim knows full well wouldn't work if he did.

No. What is not appropriate is to hide behind something using deceitful intentions. It is like Hamas hiding bombs in schools then crying foul when children are killed. I could care less about his patent because I don’t believe there is any extra energy from CF; so he can keep his sacred patent just quit using it as a shield.

Cloud camper, I have to defend Jim on this one. Please stop with this. Even if you are correct, that he posted an idea of his exactly like your sim, time has gone by and designs change. So please stop with the flawed physics and failed design business, because the very nature of this subject will generate many failed designs over time from all of us, and even just contemplating the subject could get acedamia to say our thinking is flawed.


I agree with Dax's a couple posts back. Jim, don't you realize that this thread, out of the gate and by your own measure, was worded with many insults, attacks, bashes at whole groups of people here on the forum? Before you say it was just is response to what others had done in the past, also remember how you always want to tell people to "let it go" when they get in your case for something you've done in the past.

Just look how you insulted poor Ralph. He just made a self-deprecating joke about it and took it in stride, without acting childish. You could learn a lesson from that.

People might not be bullying you as much as sending your rude behavior back your way. Think about that. If you want to actually discuss the matter, without extraneous banter, all you have to do is say so and not ignore it.

Then he compounds his errors by calling his WW2D monstrosity the "jimmichselfpump81914bal.wm2d" and the "jimmichselfpump81914unbal.wm2d"

In all cases these are NOT my designs. They are NOT my concepts. They are NOT my mechanism.

Cloud camper has labeled HIS idea as being my idea. I find this very deeply offensive and insulting.

Cloud camper should immediately edit his post so as to remove my forum name from his concepts and ideas. Anything less is dishonorable behavior. And cloud camper should acknowledge his error of using my forum name on his work.

2. a natural or established process by which something takes place or is brought about.

Maxwell's Demon has never been found in nature, as far as I know.

EDIT I think it's important to note that in the MS painting there is multiple lavers on each pivot and the multiple green levers drawn are not to represent where things were and where they are going. Each red arrow represents the weight leaving a position and going to the position that it's pointing at.

The swastika wheel that I've tried to share is moved by a belt and a rod that shifts the weights. In "motion wheel.gif" at the top right all of the gravity being used to shift the weights is done.

Jim_Mich when you talk of ectropy, I mean to say is if this design I had were perfectly balanced, I'm not saying that it is. If it were perfectly balanced, then at the top right section of the "motion wheel.gif" shifts its weight down by gravity which then shifts either the weight on the top left to the left or the weight on the bottom right to the right. So Jim, isn't this the kind of thing you have been trying to discuss? If there is leverage such as at the top right of the painting and the wheel is balanced then there must be extra ectropy somewhere, right? /edit

I'm 90% sure that there is ectropy that is in excess but it goes to motion without external force, my dumbbell experiment hypothesis and explanation for the chain fountain, #ICallBSonCambridgeUniversity.
