Daxwc,

My "E" Is that Jim has done everything in his power making attempts to manipulate us to believe he is on to some particular solution that will evolve into a working concept. In truth he has diddly squat!

His smooth bore fluid drive design will not work and I tried to advise him so. But no, he makes a klutz out of himself by believing water will follow a smooth bore rotating pipe. I use the word "klutz" openly because that is as he stated what the design was for.

IMO he has blown his integrity, devalued his social standing with forum peers, he has completely lost control of any "demeaning" values he once held.

Therefore I publicly announce that I have removed my green vote from his status bar and replaced it with a red. I am what I am and I no longer need to put up with his persistent desire to be top man on the soap box. If this is not a sign of inferior complex, then I have no idea of what else to call it!

Sorry Jim, but you have blown it!

Does anyone want to debate whether or not the concept by itself predicts a "working" Physical possibility?

Dunesbury,

In answer to your question, other than the close up photo he posted, not revealing the complete mechanism, it is impractical for me to discuss the design or make any statements.

I passed a suggestion to him that I felt he might find useful, the reply was that I did not know how his device operated.

Go ahead and talk; not too sure who might answer as it has been discussed before. Never know there might be a side B to that broken record 8)

I offered an opinion earlier, jim offered a rebuttal, I rebutted and my rebut is hanging out there.

Mechanism has two meanings.
1. a system of parts working together in a machine; a piece of machinery.
2. a natural or established process by which something takes place or is brought about.

Maxwell's Demon has never been found in nature, as far as I know.

My concept is so simple that disclosing the mechanism [1.] would disclose the mechanism [2.]
And disclosing the mechanism [2.] would disclose the mechanism [1.]

Maxwell's demon doesn't (and can't) exist in nature, but mechanical demon can? Maxwell's is also a hypothetical mechanical natural process.

Why would the thermodynamic version not exist, not be found in nature, and solid version exist?

Maxwell's describes hypothetical system that can't exist,so it can't be used as an argument for some similar system to exist, only a hypothetical system.

If you could build anything at all, it would really help your case here.
Why can't you build even a two weight version with sticks and stones or whatever. Because?

Dunesbury,

You are limiting your scope of innovation if you believe the principle must exist in nature.

Ahem,
physics is dictated by nature, Rlortie.
If no one can find an example of PM in nature then it isn't there.
And physics reflects that non-existence.
Maxwell's demon has been shown to be impossible to be man made, and no one has ever observed one in nature.

This has been discussed before and what conclusion did the forum reach?
Broken record?
Then why does anyone bother when jim-mich posts it?
If there is no side B?

The concept of using fluid, aka movement of molecular mass has its pros and cons. I for one am pursuing such a path, having spent considerable time on research of hydraulic dynamics and mechanics, have concluded in my opinion, I have a design worthy of a prototype build.

I have written very little regarding it here on the forum, what I have written has been somewhat scoffed and ridiculed. I feel this is mainly due to the fact that it does not relate to anything Bessler published.

Some times to be discerning one must read between the lines! At times I am led to believe that most forum members are so deep into Bessler's forest they cannot see the trees and that there are more than one species!

To ease your curiosity, my molecular mass design does indeed exist in nature!

Now this is a refreshing statement! Someone can actually tell their status without overblowing anything. Why can't more people talk without the implied baggage of having something they don't? Is it so hard to separate having an idea worthy of a build from having already built, tested and proven a working device?

It shouldn't be a problem, unless you let your ego get in the way.

Conclusion #1 was just because unicorns haven’t been discovered in nature doesn’t mean one can’t be discovered in the future.

Conclusion #2 was just because alien intelligent life haven’t been discovered in nature doesn’t mean one can’t be discovered in the future.

Little more serious… it comes down to probability and odds and has science looked at this completely.

Yes, you do know how; it doesn't operate! You know his concept is based on hypothetical system, Maxwell's demon. A concept based on a hypothetical concept merely produces another hypothetical concept. That's what perpetual motion is, a hypothetical concept. Based on a hypothetical concept: system exists in nature that creates its own energy.
That is nutshell and you are not idiot.
I hope your molecular mass design works. When is first test?

Unicorns probably do exist somewhere and intelligent life as well.

Do you really think there is something science has missed concerning these subjects; friction, leverage, mass, force, energy?
What are odds science is wrong about Bessler wheel, and he discovered mechanical "sun"?
Zero.

Jim_Mich,
It's worth continuing to post. You should not be given hard time about prototypes. I believe you once said that you did not even fix your own leaky sink, so why is it hard to believe this extra activity of building a Bessler Wheel wouldn't lag a little? People will get their heads out of their ass once they realize that they are splitting hairs about most of the stuff that you say.

Besides if you don't communicate with me on the forum I think that I will be all alone with my own motion wheel idea, not that you have given it much attention recently but if you did recognize my ideas on motion, that would be at least someone on the same perpetual motion interests in which to reflect ideas on. What is the point of me posting on the forum if all I get is Ed playing with me when I say something a little eccentric? By the way the ladies will love your perpetual motion machine too Jim_Mich, I think they will run it ragged. lol They will try to tire out your machine but it just keeps going and going, nothing outlasts the energizer bunny.

I know you are German, right? I am also. I like Germans! Johann Bessler is German. Never underestimate the creativity of a devoted German man. You have in your blood the fuel that has driven innovation, such as Johan Bessler. You can make a perpetual motion machine. I believe it.

Dunesbury,

I am a builder, being an armchair theorist does not interest me. I do not waste my time on hypothetical theory. Either a design has to show a viable chance of working or as most often it does not. I look for objective reasoning as to what a particular design may yield.

I come here to this forum when taking a smoke and coffee break and in the evenings when bored with TV. I attempt to be useful to those who seek input on design not hypothetical raveling. I also keep an eye on what is being said for sparks of innovation, either for my own benefit or the posters.

I do not care if it exists in nature or not, man has succeeded in doing a number of things that nature plays no part in, or one can say; with the help of nature we have surpassed it.

And yes, I knew from what little description that jim_mich gave regarding his wheel, that it would not work!

Ralph how could you possibly know by what Jim_Mich said that it would not work? Can you give an example? He hasn't released his wheels design yet.
