re: Why bother posting?
My water wheel motion wheel is better illustrated with these MS paintings.
So you see by using "water wheelz.gif" that the motion wheel is the same as the weights one but uses water. The difference is how it is constructed and not how it functions. With the motion wheel made with water, pipes and water and a few bellow bags, or any kind of pouch would make this work. For a weight design, it would require a conveyor belt and rods attached to lever and weights. I can see how the water version would have appealed to Jim_Mich. A tribal man in the wilderness could throw together some skins as pouches and cement together some make shift pipes and have this energy producing wheel.
The reason I think this design would produce revolutions without stop, or perpetual motion, or free energy or the hottest thing the ladies will ever lay their eyes on, is because when the lever shifts and changes direction with more force than the rotation of the wheel has it will create motion without external force. My hypothesis is that when a weight changes direction with greater force than it was going that it will produce lift in the direction that it was going. Let me say that again in a different way. If a weight is traveling and changes direction by a stronger force the weight will produce lift towards where it was going in spite of the stronger forces attempts or I could say this that the weight changes direction with force greater than it can use and pushes that extra force into the direction it was going before pushing towards the direction the force is giving it.
Okay thank you very much. It was a pleasure giving you exactly what you all have been looking for and getting absolutely no respect from you. You will all go down in history as a bunch of cranks but I will not because I actually did something useful here by actually finding Bessler's Wheel. This is Bessler's wheel.

I thank you Ed!Ed wrote:Now this is a refreshing statement! Someone can actually tell their status without overblowing anything. Why can't more people talk without the implied baggage of having something they don't? Is it so hard to separate having an idea worthy of a build from having already built, tested and proven a working device?rlortie wrote:In my opinion, I have a design worthy of a prototype build.
yes I am building a fluid drive prototype. Call it an innovative spark created by forum member Erick and Glenn's papers regarding Kenrick.
I have put the better part of at least two years of research into this thing. This build is not the first based on concept, I am on the second build. The first was a 48" (1.2192m) diameter wheel which was put through it paces on a dry run. Not unlike 'skunk works' trial and error it showed me where the design and fabrication methods needed improving. Rather than disassemble and rebuild, I decided to start from scratch with a new larger design.
It is not related to anything that Bessler left us, It is based on what I assme is more in line with what William Kenrick applied for a patent, unfortunately he died before the patent could be issued.
I still have not found Glenn's paper on Kenrick's disquisitions and since my computer crash I have lost his physical and e-mail address. Is there any possibility that you could help me out on this?
@ Bill, JC.
Maybe you can help me, do you have contact with Glenn?
Edit: Found this in Wiki:
RalphIn 1770 and 1771 Kenrick published two pieces on perpetual motion: An account of the Automaton, or Perpetual Motion of Orffyreus and A Lecture on the Perpetual Motion.
Kenrick complained:
"One species of our predecessor's merit, however, I presume myself at least entitled to, that of perseverance; it being now fifteen years since I first engaged in this undertaking, which I have since pursued with almost unremitted assiduity, and that not only at considerable waste of time and expense, but under the constant mortification of hearing it equally ridiculed by those who do know, and by those who do not know, anything of the matter."

re: Why bother posting?
This will likely be my last post on this thread, it appears that "Why bother posting? has ran its topic source to it's final chapter!
No one gave any good reasons why I (or anyone) should bother posting in the Bessler Wheel Forum.
Instead, what I predicted in the first post of this thread came to pass.
To you gravity-wheel seekers, I leave you with Bessler's words from AP, Part Two, Chapter 43...
Anybody from this (one lifting four) can speculate that they soon the running would perpetuate.
Anybody however still not know this (that one can't lift four) then all their hard work is in vain.
Bessler's "one lifting four" was never a clue about how his wheel worked.
Rather, it has always been a clue showing that his wheel was not a gravity-wheel.
Bessler always called his wheel a perpetual MOTION WHEEL.
He never called it a perpetual gravity wheel
He never implied that is was rotated by falling weights.
He said the weights gained force from their motions.
His wheel was rotated by the motions of the weights
His wheel was not rotated by the weight of the weights.
One pound lifting four was Wagner's concept, wrongly attributed to Bessler.
Goodbye. I'm out of here. (You can all cheer now.)

Jim:
One should post to answer other members questions.
One should post if he has new information, ideas or new speculation.
One should post on threads on wheel builds in progress.
One should post to make a statement or take a position.
One shouldn’t post the same mantra day after day, thread after thread and demand members listen.
One shouldn’t post just to hear themselves talk or to inflate their ego.
You are welcome. I am sure somebody will fill you in on the ones I missed.

Of course he never called it a perpetual gravity wheel!
The sentence is a "Pun' also called paronomasia, a form of word play,
a malapropism in that a malapropism uses an incorrect expression that alludes to another.
Either it was gravity machine or a perpetual motion machine, both require a weight differential and for that you need gravity.

You really expect Jim to figure that out Ralph, he hasn’t yet figured out I didn’t want his conniving ass to die a few pages back.

Can we have Stewart back now?
re: Why bother posting?
As stated in the classic move; "Gone With the Wind", Frankly my dear, I do not give a damn about what Bessler told Wagner or Wagner to Bessler.
What irks me is this; first "I have" then its "I believe I have" then this is whittled down to 'well i cannot deliver this without that and I cannot get that without this and it would disclose my plan. ON and on it goes where the wheel stops nobody knows.
Here again he twists away from the issue at hand by repeating and repeating the same bull that is completely irrelevant to the subject regarding his misleading statements aka lies!

You or anyone should post whatever they want within rules of conduct. Guests usually get boot when rule breaking occur.
And for the oomphteenth time, perpetual motion wheel is impossible. Bessler's wheel was not either one. "Something that works" and appears to be perpetual motion can only be an open system, or, stretching truth.
We've all stretched truth before, haven't we? Maybe not here, but somewhere.

Careful Dunes,
For the oomphteenth time, we have read your statement: "perpetual motion wheel is impossible. Bessler's wheel was not either one."
I believe you have made your point, keep it up and you may find that it is your turn in the barrel! I hate to see that happen to anyone unless they deserve it.
I have been there in times past, it is not a pleasurable place to be. When you said that it has to exist in nature, I responded, did you miss my point?

Dunes, you're probably right but since this IS the Bessler Wheel forum we have to suspend reality at least a bit to allow folks to use their wits and mechanical abilities to try and figure out how he did it.Dunesbury wrote:You or anyone should post whatever they want within rules of conduct. Of course fraud is a high probability but with all the witnesses and professional examinations there appears to be a good possibility he had what he claimed.
So by continually screaming PM is impossible, you become a crashing bore to other members as the game here is to stimulate creativity and imagination.
If you recall, there was another forum member that screamed daily his viewpoint was the only valid one and look what happened!
