Too much knowledge "shields "our observation on the basic mechanics Bessler used in his achievement....it should be looked on by what we can see ,not guesswork on what we can't see ,a simple solution ..not complicated is the way to go...try looking "elsewhere"....

The document in the link you provided was written in 1718 by Friedrich Wilhelm von Schönlich in support of Bessler and his wheel. I haven't translated it yet, so I can't give you any more detail than that at the moment. The document has been included on my list in the site wiki for a number of years, although I noticed the URLs at SLUB have now changed and so I've updated the wiki with the new links. They've also scanned the document again in colour.
