re: How Many Are There?
"Dear James, I don't want to put a damper on your suggested astrological proposition, but I'm not sure why you have chosen the dates between October 23 and November 21. I can see that the big wheel was tested during that period but the original wheel was first exhibited 6th June 1712. That would make it a Gemini birth." John Collins
Gees! Not at all, John - no dampener or proposition, actually.
The date range of October 23 to November 21 is where our Scorpios fit.
I've really paid no attention to when the various of Bessler Wheels came-to-be. ' Will leave that up to yourself and others to work on. I merely meant to say that a newly created B-W that operates, would have a new such-and-such date of creation or, 'birth' if you like.
All the still-born's don't count as they do not yet work, i.e. do not live by virtue of any inherent quality of self-actuation, as Johann believed his did, no?
I think we have a no problemo here.
Kindest Regards
-James

re: How Many Are There?
Just a small, further note on the matter . . .
The Scorpios of us likely will not show themselves as they tend to be secretive and like mysteriousness generally. These qualities I appreciate, even though some others might not. 'To each his own'.
(And still, I await the MAC's attack momentarily. When they do, we will be lectured as to why Astrology is so stupid and ignorant a thing to entertain and, that it is only for dim-wits and othe such things equally or more suspect even, as they do surely believe of us. To myself this would seem but a specialized brand of narrow mindedness all masqueraded-up as a thing intellectually/ethically superior, and cuts-above any mere 'faithers' in whatever. As to these, as well as much else of the like, I-am-not-so-sure, really. The one area where they DO have good argumentation sets is that concerning what knowledge is actually, and more importantly, what it is NOT. This is their good stuff, I think. The sad fact is that none know very much.)

Hi James,
You forgot understanding, or the lack of.
Its a funny old world! If we all thought the same, there would be no diversity, would't that be dull.
Aquarius, with all of its virtues and none of its faults.

I was born in the wee hours of March 21, which makes me Aries the ram!
It is also at or near the equinox or the first day of spring, therefore I am regarded as a blooming idiot! I do however fit the description given the astrological sign.

That's great, AB!
The Astrological Smart Set indicates that, Scorpios are the ones that NEVER give up and, will die trying to do some thing they are absolutely set-on. This is wonderful for business pursuits or . . . dare I say it?, for Perpetual Motion ones. (Really now, have we ever known of an impatient P-M researcher?)
(Incidentally, AB, Taurus the bull, and Scorpio the scorpion, although on opposite sides of the Astrological Wheel, get along very well because their needs and traits are complementary, essentially. I think that's really nice. My Scorpio friend and I get on very well indeed because of this.)

That also is interesting, Fedriver.
From what I understand thus far, there exist two thought schools when it comes to the issue of cusp changes. One believes it a slow, gradational sort of thing, while the other asserts that it is a more hysteretic-like one, in other words where all changes from one state to the next all at once.
This last seems not logical to me as observed Nature appears to operate more in gradations, rather than in instantaneous jumps from one condition to another.
(I sure hope your analyzing girl friend astrologer treats you well and carefully, Scorpio.)
NOTE: I am NO 'expert' in this fascinating matter being a mere beginner - and just learning.
J.

Aquarius, with all of its virtues and none of its faults. - Trevor ("the good")
Good point.
Yes, do let's factor that in as an essential.
As for diversity per se, tragically when found too concentrated into ever smaller and smaller spaces, and bewildering coloration's of riotous confusion relating to ways-of-being clashes etc. according to simple observation, tends to morph-to conversity and proversity (to say nothing yet of perversity) with THE BATTLE being then on !
(Really, are you, there in Merrie Olde Angle Land, going to survive even, what is now being to-purpose formed around you? We Colonials are not ourselves off this same bloody hook, this question sporting much relevance here for our own, ever-growing situation of frightening direness. Such walls are closing in fast, and hard.)
Too much of a good thing is not - All things in moderation - Let Prudence be our guide.
Long ago, this world abandoned all those and NOW LOOK!
"Her decks are cleared for ACTION" - "She's footloose and fancy-free" - messages of the New Morality transmitted and received by those that lived the Roaring Twenties to be passed on to us, now; lessons taught by our informational Master Reformers. (Amused???)
- James
NOTE: Our dictionaries do not contain certain terms which they should. For instance, one being "Declarationist."
If term Constitutionalist exists and is fit for use, then why not the other? Constitutions merely form mere governance's, whereas Declarations declare Great Things for ever and all time, such as OURS certainly does. (Royals - here take note!) Curious, no?
"Out of sight - out of mind." (In what exact sense, this???)

Perfect, as my ass has been well-butted publicly, by this respondent particular/peculiar.
At it, the amusement thus produced has yet to dissipate!
This 'we' patiently await . . . the coming Centuries promising?

"Do you have Saturn rising in Uranus , primemignonite ?" - nicbordeaux
(I'll respond as if a SCORPIO, for fun . . .)
On my own thread, Nici, why do you come to ask such a question of me, as this?
Whatever the answer-true may be actually, of which I shall not tell, I believe Mars to be rising within Uranus, all indicators indicating well!

Capricorn, 63, scorpio rising, i think that your point about tanacity is correct, secrets as well, as for doing things until the end, spot on dude.
Very interesting work, working with the stars, i feel a lot of people think there is no validity in this research and understanding and dismiss it, but i have seen amazing results with bio dynamics and weather systems and also had some very enlightening personal experiences myself ,i feel it can help you to understand your self on some level ,and could be recognized as a aid in therapy imho.

Do you James see astrological signs, symbolism, codes or references in Bessler’s works as he was an astrologist?
