You posted in the correct place. Wave generator machines are interesting. But there is even more that can be used from the actions of the waves.

I don't think, at least I have not seen, even with magnifying glass on the internet or anywhere else, any wave energy converting technology, capable of producing electricity in less than two feet deep water where children can play.

Yet there sre literally hundreds of wave energy converters technologies around the world, in the offing currently.
