Chris, very sorry to hear about your situation. Please check out information on vitamin b 17. I would if I were in your shoes. Prayers sent.

Hard to know what to say to news like this... i lost a 10 year-old kid brother to a brain tumour - he was diagnosed a year after our mum went the same way, so knew from the outset it was his curtain call.

There was also a poster on the Steorn forum, using the nick "Overconfident", who took the same exit after being cruelly hoaxed throughout his last years by another poster, "Alsetalokin" (still active on the Moletrap forum), that his magnet motor design (dubbed "Whipmag") was a runner. What makes some of these pseudoskeptics tick is beyond me.

But lounging it up down here in the Costa Brava, pedestrian realities a thousand miles behind me, after a long day hiking though forested hills and exploring secluded beach coves, i'm reminded how fantastic life is, no matter the shit sandwiches it always serves up, and what a privilege it is just to be, for a short while. No matter what happens from hereon, we've all won the universe's greatest jackpot already.

With all this in mind, i swam out further than usual today. Thing is, i have this stupid paranoia about sharks. I'll get a little way from the shore, but sooner or later it sets in and i'm winging it, breathless, back to the shallows. There's never been a shark attack round here - 20-odd years ago a dead great white washed up at Tossa de Mar, but aside from that, the nearest live one's probably a thousand miles south. Water's too saline here - you can float like in the Dead Sea. Zero risk of an attack. Jellies are another matter but i can deal with them.

But thinking today about your news, and the comparative risks i took flying here, or racing round the A406 and up the M11 on my bike after oversleeping and almost missing my flight (had to elbow my way thru the queues at Stanstead, terribly uncool), i realised the value, nay, the obligation, to take the opportunity to smell the roses and just go for it.

Tomorrow i may even try swimming between beach coves - i know i can handle the distance 'cos i can stop and float a while if i get tired. It's just the (zero) shark risk that worries me...

It's a bunch of crap i know, and if i HAD to swim out KNOWING a shark was waiting for me, there might be some kind of analogy in there...

But whatever your rose garden, i hope you get a little more quality time there before hometime. Everything else - including this - is just a distraction.

If you do have a solution, getting shot of it, and any small solace that may bring, is but a detail in the miracle of what it was to simply be.

I just hope it's not pure moments - counter torque on a beam from spinning up the weights.. tried that already without success. Sorry but that's the only way i could find of 'switching off' the weight component of a mass. Hopefully you've found something more fruitful...

As you say, onwards and upwards...

Two words: ganoderma lucidum

Pay attention to the U-251 MG cellular apoptotic reaction to the introduction of the FIP-SN15 and FIP-glu genes.

Hi Chris,

I am still in a state of shock at the very bad news above, and can only state my regret at not joining up with you and the men at Archie, that was me being selfish, but where did that get me? Still my work is not finished and has not moved forward very much in the last six years.

I feel a loss already, because you are one of the few men that I feel I could do business with, and now that opportunity is lost in these tragic circumstances.

With Best wishes, and much respect, Trevor Lyn Whatford

I searched through "A Rogues Gallery" and found one of 'Triplock' - Chris.

Just down from above.

I do hope he is with us still, and will rally.

Try getting a really good facilitator of EFT. For some people this works miracles. "Often works when nothing else does." Or you can try "the script: prayer for healing" depending on your perspective. A new kind of peace to you...
