@Fcdriver,
I'm not sure if anyone is really interested in doing what it takes to build even a basic Bessler wheel. Some will take it personal but I do know from experience that it can take some time to develop an idea.
And with what I posted about in the thread http://besslerwheel.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5504 on pages 14 and 15, I think if anyone ever tries it, they will be surprised but the water doesn't need to move, only the wheel needs to move.
And before and after where the pumps are located, there can be fill and drain holes in the wheel. Kind of like what a water wheel has but the water is not flowing across the top but is flowing across the bottom instead.
Of course, in this fashion, it's more like rowing a boat.

Jim Lindgaard,
ALL perpetual motion schemes based upon getting their rotational force from gravity are doomed to fail, regardless of how you design them. Bessler wrote that seekers of perpetual motion think that if only they can cause more weight on one side than the other, surely their wheel will perpetuate. But such builders must learn the truth by their own hard work of building failed wheels, just as Bessler learned this truth by building failed wheels. The fact is that gravity force is conservative, which means that any downward force caused by a falling weight must be matched exactly so as to raise the weight back upward so that it can fall again. There is no magical mechanical or hydraulic design that can get around gravity being a conservative force. Thus there was no Bessler gravity wheel. Bessler made a motion wheel. Bessler never claimed a gravity wheel. Bessler always called it a motion wheel. Bessler discovered how to cause weights within a wheel to gain motive force and then use that motive force to accelerate the weights, which then accelerates the wheel.
Thus when you or anyone else posts a gravity based wheel design, ALL intelligent people know that it will never work.
Now the trolls will jump in here and make false claims that a motion wheel will never work. They are like people making claims that man will never fly. Or that man will never travel to the moon. Such statements from the past were made by ignorant people who did not know everything about such subjects. Claiming that a motion wheel is impossible, while not knowing the details of such a concept, is real ignorance.
Just thought I'd trash Jim L's thread, somewhat like he so often trashes this fine forum.
Enough for today, I've got wheel parts to build...

It is interesting Jim_Mich, people who say perpetual motion is impossible are credible in a perpetual motion forum. This is what I will always find funny and why I am going to build in my forum. After all, I am going to break AB Hammer's rule for the most part and restart my build. I want to make a good first impression.
And as you said >> Thus when you or anyone else posts a gravity based wheel design, ALL intelligent people know that it will never work. <<
I think that's the real reason I am not welcome here. I am going to repost your post in my forum. It will give people an idea of why I am poorly thought of in here so Thank You.

In the topic "Importance of raising weights", I've 'build' diagrams and shown the mathematical difficulties in pursuing an overbalanced wheel.ALL perpetual motion schemes based upon getting their rotational force from gravity are doomed to fail, regardless of how you design them.
So 'simple' weight-shifts are basically doomed...
No, Jim Lindgaard, you are poorly thought of here simply because you are an ass-hole sock-puppet troll, who attacks most everyone that replies to your posts.

Fcdriver,
It's amazing but enough credible people in here share the same view. I know some people like you, pequaide, Kirk don't. It's like what I posted to rlortie, if he has a wood lathe, it would be something simple that can be tried.
And if he saw the wheel rotating while the water stayed low in the wheel, I think he would be thinking he just discovered the Fountain of Youth. That's just another way of saying he'd feel like a kid again. And I think if I'm the only one, it wouldn't be good for Bessler's legacy but would just be more of the same. And with how long rlortie has been associated with this forum, maybe he could think about that. And if it doesn't work, I'm an idiot and he's out a few hours of his time. But if he likes what he sees or it works, then maybe people might have to do something besides being a critic. And for me, it would show my schooling and work experience does benefit me when it comes to Bessler's work. :-)
edited to add; @rlortie, if you're not interested, please let me know. I have a router and can do it myself.
edited to add; rlortie, one reason why I haven't built that yet is to do a credible job requires a wood lathe. Kind of why I went away from that type of building. I could fake it and make it passable as a build goes but it is Bessler's wheel so prefer to try and do things the right way.

What rule are you going to break??? Show where it is posted, for no one has any idea what you are talking about.
Keep your new forum clean or you will fail again. Your history is you can't keep your post clean and follow the rules in any forum. that is why you are banned so often. Learn from it. You are your own worst enemy.

re: Bessler-Builders
I'm going to stay in my forum. Really have no need to allow AB Hammer to say I needed his guidance when he is one of the people who has been discrediting me.
re: Bessler-Builders
I no longer own a wood lathe. Had one for over twenty years and seldom used it, I gave it away to a close friend. It is my belief that a wood lathe is not cost effective and consumes to much time in labor
I own an engine lathe:

I use it for its intended purpose on metal wood and plastic.
lingaard has never to my knowledge posted anything that caught my interest worth building.

r.henley/James Lindgaard posted
The question is. Why does he keep coming here if he doesn't need help? Also when is he going to finally finish and test some completed builds of the known MTs and his variations. Hopefully he will stay at his own forum where he can talk on how great he is and trashing others to try to prove it. At least he is at a forum he won't get banned or put on Troll mod from.

I have been informed that r.henley aka James Lindgaard is now put under Troll mod.I'm going to stay in my forum. Really have no need to allow AB Hammer to say I needed his guidance when he is one of the people who has been discrediting me.
