Hello. Just in case, for our records.
This was the day when I sent my avalanchedrive matter to GE, throughout their site and without any copy. (they are so silent!)

Don't submit anything to GE or any other company for FREE. That just makes me sick. If anybody should be given something for free is the general public that has some interest in the matter, like folks on this forum.
I suggest to just go build your idea, and if it works go get a patent or just give it away to as many people as possible in a quick time frame, so it won't run the risk of being snuffed out by the powers that be (assuming its Free Energy or other amazing stuff).
Most importantly don't associate with any sinister types. LOL

re: for our records
GE, Los Alamos, and a littany of other strange and intriguing IP addys have showed up repeatedly on my intrusion attempt logs over the years....from every corner of the globe....such that I have long ago been inspired to 'reinvent' my research methods and re-prioritize my motives.
If you own an HP printer and you have the capability, check for spybots. Even if you don't own one of their printers....chances are, if you use windows, they are racing about inside your machine.......
Why do you think their main advertising slogan is: "Invent". Shades of the old light switch company advocation... "Leviton"
Industrial espionage has reached way beyond previous incarnations at the advent of computers and the internet.
Very interesting work being done with P.C. monitors, T.Vs and virtually all things electronic as well.
There has never been a better time for Megalomaniacal Corporate Concerns to reap the benefits of a worldwide herd of largely unwitting minions.....sitting back, and skimming the cream of ideas and research efforts around the world.
I'm not even close to kidding when I say that if you are involved in any of a wide number of research efforts, and you have not instituted capable security protocols.......your ideas can be made to reach POP (Proof of principle) stage almost before you can say....

Nothing else to be worry with.
My idealistic will is going on, this project is for to be used by everyone... this will hapen, anyway.
The patent is just to avoid the big mouth of other adventurers.
For the other side, without any help from anyone, I'm getting a bit desperate and time is flowing... God knows I would like so much to deddicate my life in the deveolpment of this stuff; not as owner but just as one of colaborator.
If it works as I'm sure it will, it's too big for belong to anyone.
My job, since alone, is just to release and wait.

re: for our records
I once submitted an idea to GE. It was many years ago and was for a revolutionary new form of lighting. Basically, on the surface the invention appeared to be a conventional incandescent lightbulb, but would produce the same amount of light with only a small fraction of the power requirement of a similarly bright ordinary bulb. Also, my bulb would never wear out and was virtually indestructible!
At first, they displayed great interest in the invention because I had submitted only a description of the benefits of the device...not any of its technical details.
I then got a long follow up letter from them inviting me to submit ALL of the details of my, as yet, unpatented invention. Upon reading the letter, however, I found a line that said that IF they wanted my invention, then they would be willing to give me an "honorarium" of $1000 for it and would then acquire any and all rights to it for their own use.
Needless to say...they never heard from me again!

On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ
re: for our records
Ken, where is your light bulb right now? Is it still out of market?
GE has now a US 5,000 reward insteed US 1,000.
One may understand that they must receive thousand cheat offers every month, and they must take juridic cares. But I'm sure they lose a lot of stuffs.
All companies and/or groups and organizations that say to appreciate applications, will not take applicant seriously. They are demagogic, of sure, but one of the reasons are those 'first screen' people, that are too stuped and not preppared to the function.
In these applications also should help the so called 'IQ' ( 'Indication Coefficient' ).
Can you tell more about your bulbs? Regs. M. SP jul/05

re: for our records
murilo...
Right now my lightbulb exists solely on paper and is unpatented. I had assembled a small group of investors several decades ago who were willing to financially back me for getting a patent, but, when it came time for them to begin investing in the invention, the bulk of them dropped out of the project due to prior financial commitments.
So, that's how it stands at the moment. In the future, when funds become available, I may take another crack at patenting the device. It's really a very simple concept and of the few that I have divulged the details to, all remarked that they were amazed that nobody else ever thought of it before...

re: for our records
Ken,
your case is a kind of dejá vue to me, reffering to myself and to others I know.
The resistance and troubles to bring an idea from mind and paper, to real world, are not proportional to efforts one expend to get that idea.
I have a book where there is a draw of a ''condensateur'', or radiator, done in 1816! It's exactly the same cars' radiators as used nowdays.
If I tell to have a project for a type, of at least 40% better (or smaller) radiator, in different chapes, nobody will listen me. And I have it!
If you got an idea, another quality you'll have: persistence! :]
Go on, Ken! regs. M.

re: for our records
Yes, obtaining a patent on an invention can be a long and very expensive process. Then, even IF one obtains the patent there is about a 98% chance that the invention will never earn a penny in royalties!
It's a rather depressing reality that all inventors have to face sooner or later.
To assist the amateur inventor and promote the art of invention, I think that the various patent offices around the globe should adopt a different fee structure for the amateur. It would be nice if it was possible for an amateur to go through the entire patent process for less than $1000 US dollars. The loss of income for the patent offices could then be made up by increasing the fees for the corporations which are better able to afford them.

re: for our records
Ken, you are such a forward thinker that the USPTO took your advice many years ago. They charge individual inventors a lower rate than big entity inventors.
It costs a "small entity" $150 to file a patent, $250 for a search, $100 examination fee, and $700 when the patent issues. If you do all the work yourself, make your own drawings, and if the PTO makes no objections (unlikely) to your patent application then a patent costs an individual about $500 plus his/her personal time, effort and expenses, then another $700 if/when the patent issues. Total cost is $1200 minumum.
If you choose to use a patent attorny or agent then figure on making his/her car payments for a year (about $4000 to $8000 and up). You might want to check what type of car he/she drives.

Yes, these are real good news and with Jim permission I'll release them in other group.
Still for the records, I declare that when someday, reaching to ideal ca$h, I'll keep a kind of serious, free and really open attention to inventors.
A good idea may be a curse and some relief will be sent!

re: for our records
Jim...
I'm glad to read that the USPTO finally gave the "little guy" a break on the fees. It looks like it will now only cost $500 up to the point where one receives one's first rejection! Maybe one in a 100 "do-it-yourselfer's" will actually pay that total minimum amount of $1200 that you mentioned...the rest can probably figure on doubling or tripling it.
I am not opposed to finding a patent examiner to do the application for me. They are not attorneys and charge a lot less to process one's patent, but, then again, they are not prepared to go to court in an infringement suit either. Still, one must figure on a cost of several thousand of dollars even with them. But, I think it is probably worth the aggravation of trying to process a patent on one's own. They can help one avoid the many pitfalls that the amateur would have to learn about the "hard" way.
Anyway, good luck with your efforts. I do hope you have something that works and which you can proudly proclaim, in the patent application, IS producing free energy. If your design works then it might even be a big improvement on Bessler's in terms of its power output...
