Now if you could get a certain nameless individual to dress up in a hen's costume with black stilettos and a whip, put it in roadrunner format with chicken feed experiments going awry, then ending with a white board conference showing the math and some head scratching, I think you'd have a winner.

How else could you make a show about the snake oil of physics without that type of humor? It would have to be a parody.

If you need some props, Donald E. Simanek of Lock Haven University has yard art galore.

The show has a someone that is like a mad scientists (me) who wears a partial mask and acts differently along with an assistant (one of the machinists) who acts as a typical mad scientists assistant. The assistant is less intelligent.

Figure out how Bill Nye the Science Guy was entertaining?

Either way, this show is intended for all audiences. Sex sells, of course. But I don't go that route.

My last name is Lindgaard and on facebook I have a perpetual motion page to show some of this build. I have talked to a managers at Lowe's about them displaying it if it works. It will be a few days before I finish it.
I think one thing you might find about perpetual motion is the math aspect of it although there are a couple of machines that could probably work perpetually if they're engineers were intent on that instead of making money.

Why not go the reality TV /investigative journalism route?
Pick 1.2.3 people per episode to highlight. Mix it up show of variety of people and their ideas, their struggles. Show the cross section of people who believe it's possible from the educated to average joe. I mean we have all types from rational down to earth to conspiracy theories to ufo technologists. Why do they believe the way they do? What current and past projects they have going on? Heart break and suffering because of their hobby. Relationships issues. How much time and money is spent? How has PMM impacted or changed their lives? Look at machines on you tube track down posters does it work or is it a hoax. Then why does it not work?
For example: this is john he lives x, this is johns background. his wife or Gf does (or does not)supports him. This is how he started working on PMM ideas, this is why he believes in PMM, theses are his ideas/opinions on PMM, this is his current project (blurred out of course).
You can show the cross section of people we have and educate/entertain at the same time.

I hope you might do it for all who care about Bessler, it should enlighten the world. Perhaps you could center it around John Collin's book.
Possibly the most important book every written. John portrayed Bessler honestly, fairly, and true fully. Unlike scientist who brand him a fraud only because they are too stupid to figure it out. I vote yes!

PS, sense your are an ME, with your math skills, there must be a relationship between the acceleration do to gravity and the no load speed of Bessler's wheels. It could prove they did run on gravity. I've tried but can't quite put it together.

I've been thinking, there must be a direct relationship between the speed of a wheel and the acceleration due to gravity; like so: How fast would a 12 foot gravity wheel turn?? (no load). C=36ft., acceleration 32ft./sec. d =distance d=1/2at squared. d=.5x32x1 squared=16, d=16ft. in one sec. 16/36=.444rps
.444x60=26.6rpm! Minus a little bit for friction. Doesn't this prove Bessler's Wheels ran on gravity? If I'm right that is------------maybe someone can verify it.. My math doesn't always come out quite right. Sam Peppiatt
