I saw it reported a few days ago that Hilary Clinton just turned an investment of about a thousand dollars into almost 100 thousand in 10 months !

I hope Donald is paying attention !

I'm watching closely and agonising . I may watch the bouncing some more to see if the markets can make up their minds before I jump ! The Australian stock market has another level of complexity on top of yours . Something to do with Kangaroos being excellent hoppers I think , - rubs off on the financial sector !

We've got an election here coming up soon too with an economy that seems to be ignoring economic logic . Not to mention a real estate industry that makes Fannie Mae look like a miser !

I can't make up my mind on anything real easily unfortunately .

No, Hillary didn't do it. She invested $1000 in a futures trading account back in 1979. Her broker, an experienced trader, then did most of the trading for her. She closed her account after ten months, with about $60,000 profit.

Yes I had assumed that she had somebody doing the trades for her , but what surprises me about the article from the Washington Post is the date of May 27 1994 !

I took that information about the "$100 to %100,000 Trades" from an Article written by a Chris De Muth Jr and dated Mar.12,2016 on a financial blogsite called "Seeking Alpha" .The article very unconveniently didn't put any dates in there ! I could have taken a big futures position thinking that if Hillary was still doing it , I could have too !. I should learn - you can't trust the Internet and the babbling morons on it ! You don't know what their motifs are .

I'm a firm believer though that the Financial Industry and Banks and Governments are the only groups who have got PM under control with all of these "instruments " - like Futures and ETF's and "puts and calls" and "negative interest rates" etc , etc.

They should be able to give us some good tips here at B.W ! : )

I called this market to drop; and it dropped.

I called a bit of a bottom and upside, and it went up.

Most significantly I called an extremely fragile fiscal infrastructure and impending crash of biblical proportions.

I'm still waiting to see that.

And I expect it.

There are some people who are predicting a 50% stock market crash by the end of this year (2016). These same people predict that gold and silver will increase in value.

Their reasons seem to be valid. But there are governments, big banks, and such that have a vested interest in keeping things going steady. This whole subject gets very complicated.

In the end, whatever will be, will be. The future is not ours to see. Que sera, sera

I know I'm in trouble when my retirement savings are sitting in a bank making 1.5% interest . And the powers that be (to use Grimer's term) seem to be hell bent on reducing that even further !

My prediction is that this ain't going to end well if money doesn't get back to being a valuable medium of exchange and not something that is produced at the whim of Governments and Banks !

Productive activity must IMO be behind what drives an economy , not easy money for grasshoppers !

The PTB's will eventually find out that the economy ( just like Besslers Wheel ) , requires an energy source or it is not going to perpetuate .

But I think they already know this very well , they are secure in the knowledge that by the time everybody else catches on they will be anonymously somewhere else probably working on the next phase of "serfdom for the masses".

Since I'm starting to annoy myself with this post I'd better get back to acting like an ant and keep hunting for that energy source that my wheel needs to perpetuate ( I like that word ! )

Deep down I think that's what every living thing wants to do most - Perpetuate : )
