I know that some members of this forum are familiar with the WhipMag but for those who aren't here is a video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIvZJ9x ... 588BD210AD

Al tried to withdraw this video but he was too late. It had escaped into the wild. Someone had made a copy.

For someone interested in this subject I'd advise them to make their own copy since once it's realised the effect is real the PTB will undoubtedly suppress it.

Big whorls have little whorls
Which feed on their velocity,
And little whorls have lesser whorls
And so on to viscosity
(and beyond)

The WhipMag is a bogoff for the Keenie/Bessler wheel. :-)
Who is she that cometh forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terribilis ut castrorum acies ordinata?

Jim_Mich is a libertarian. He has criticized me for being liberal with strong right wing opinions and nearing the end of Barack Obama's Presidency, he repeated propaganda against Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Presidential election that is just finishing up now I mean. I probably don't deserve to be heard for my opinion. My opinion is tainted badly because I had been hit on the head before and I remember very poorly any education that I've had. I don't think Bessler wheel website is big enough to fully appreciate Jim_Mich potential to talk about this subject. For some of the time I was very interested in like motion wheels because of Jim_Mich talking about it here but he played debate with a small number of critics mostly. I think Jim_Mich would have given a lot of content to read if hypothetically there were more people. The opinions on this forum are not very meaningful. There are too few opinions here to know which is better. If there were a lot of voices on Bessler Wheel, I think Jim_Mich would have had the strongest and most rational voice. A lot of you guys don't even make sense some of the time, but I guess not everybody here has English as their main language. I'm lucky that I can speak as well as I can, because when I got hit on the head before like around year 2001/2002 I was almost mute and I couldn't read well. I'm not perfect either. This old man could probably have had a better person than me to agree that motion only driven wheels might be possible instead of gravity driven wheels.

I felt vindicated when Jim acknowledged I knew something about a patent law he didn't. But that pales in comparison to those laws he knew I didn't. RIP

I will miss Jim for many of my own personal reasons.I know as of late he was difficult to communicate with, but he was in the midst of battling for his life,so I forgive his abrasiveness. There is one thing that Jim was adamant about for a long time, and I believe his point was more than valid. The translations of Bessler's original writings should be revisited,as there are many variables for each old German word, and any one of them could change the meaning of the passage. Also, many things said that were attributed to Bessler, were actually said by others. The translations and mis-quotes,when used as clues, can lead you down the wrong path.
Trying to turn the spinning in my brain into something useful before moving on to the next life.

In recent weeks I had been checking to see if jim_mich had at least been visiting the forum, hoping that his infrequent posting as of late and his apparent absences were perhaps more due to irritation with some of us than due to his physical health problems. I guess maybe it was, quite unfortunately, the latter.

The forum will certainly not be the same without Jim. I'm truly going to miss him. I lost a sparring partner, and to be honest there ia a part of me that really enjoys that sort of thing, and he certainly knew how to keep me on my toes.

It's, of course, hard to be passionate about our own ideas and not take criticism of them to some degree personally, but when our ideas are untested, that is just what we all must struggle to deal with in such a speculative pursuit.

With Jim also having to wrestle with his recent trying family and health issues and while perhaps turning to this pastime of ours for some (potential) hope and solace, it may have understandably been even more difficult separating legitimate criticism of some of his ideas from the feeling he was somehow being personally attacked. He was obviously quite emotionally invested in his ideas as, of course, many of us can be.

Had he had the health and the time to be able to progress from the idea stage to actual experimental test, though, maybe recent forum interactions could have been much less contentious.

Perhaps ironically I started out addressing some of his mistakes because I thought he was being too hard on other forum members who didn't agree with him. (I simply don't have enough time to correct all of you. j/k ...lol) That, of course, was before I knew what life had thrown his way.

Obviously, there are things in this life beyond our control, and yet maybe it's our nature to therefore try to seek some control where we believe we can have some.

Undoubtedly, Jim was dealing with some tough stuff, and as it would be with any of us, I'm sure there was some fear and anger and frustration involved, and maybe some of that got a bit misdirected.

He was most certainly, though, a long time and valuable member of this forum, kindly and helpfully contributing for even years before I joined.

I really will miss him. I wonder what he would think of someone he may have thought of as an enemy actually crying over his loss?

Anyway, rest in peace, jim_mich - aka James Randall.

...and my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Sincerely,

Dwayne Shepherd

I also had noticed that Jim was absent from the forum for a while so I sent him this pm. It went unread for some time before I noticed that it was read but not answered. I hope Jim atleast got to test his wheel before he passed.

Me neither.

Thank you for sharing your heart, Dwayne. I look at Jim as one of the many giants who's back I've stood up on. He caused me to see things I would never have considered. Although he's gone he's made an indelible mark on my heart.

He'd say, "told you so. :)".

The parasitic belief that hijacked his brain would not allow him to deliver the results of his build, forcing him instead to perpetuate yet another pointless self-serving myth. The lesson is there for all to learn.

Now, it is incumbent upon Scot Ellis to say his peace.

Not_Joe_Mamma, I have a special favor to ask of you. Might you just shut the fuck up? Hey, just askin'. :) Hey, nothing personal. Don't mean to be offensive.

The perfect epitaph for every PM'ist that ever lived, bar Bessler... & the only eventual one for every PM'ist still alive.....until the lesson is learnt by one, at least.
