Yeah, but try as we might. What can you do? Kay, say rah, say rah. Kay says "raw".

I truly great mind would realize AGW (All Going Well) as we attempt to manipulate AGW (Atmospheric Gravity Waves) in AGW (A Girl's World) so we can put the full payment society owes us by reason of our genius not in fiat currency but AGW (Actual Gold Weight) in a mason jar in our back yard, and all the while knowing full well the true genius class lumps us in with the AGW (Anti-Global Warming) crowd.

    It's quite the pickle.

I don't think you understand English irony. You're in good company with the rest of the US. It must be all those German genes. ;-)

Still you get my brownie points for declaring yourself a christian.

    @Grimer

    LOL I see your point.

    @All

I have looked for an image posting by Jim_Mich.

    It showed two metal tracks

Both are ramps left to right.
Also starting and finishing at the same place.

However one track dips down and back up again.

The ball rolling down the second track arrives first.

    1. Am I the only person to remember this image?
    2. Hoping I am not; Where has it gone?

    3. There was another analysis of water in a spiral tube.
The analysis compared conservation of momentum
rotation slowdown to water jet pressure speed up.

I am unable to find this after searching.

Have you tried the Album (at the top of the page)?

    This one?

For No.3, perhaps you can start from here:

Thanks the first one explains the effect. I just did not go that far back.

The other related to one of Viktor Schauberger devices.

See bottom right of the image.

i think links to several videos have been posted showing the "high road, low road" effect.

Here is a pretty good one:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GJujClGYJQ

The following video may be somewhat related, too. It shows that the period of a pendulum does not depend (very much) upon amplitude, showing the effect also with balls on tracks.

    Here are some closer images.

    1. Image one the ball rolls down into the dip before the top
and ends in an outer rim position.

    2. The wheel is out of balance.

    3. The drops into the dip and end in the inner position.
While it is moving there is less force going down on the wheel.

    4. I can see the holding position slope, that is on the left in the first image4,
    needs to be more inclined.
Also the shape needs to be increased so the inner and outer positions
    are more separated.

    That's better!

On the other ones I did realise there were three dimension or ball-bearings.

Still, you must give me points for not calling you an idiot. ;-)

I have strong reservations about joining organizations that would admit me. I have a hunch The Southern Baptist Convention would consider me more reprobate than the Vicar of My Client's Boy would consider an Anglican.

Maybe not but I know it in a geek tragedy when I see it.
        • This is Ersatz Gravity (EG).
A substitute for Newtonian Gravity (NG) in United States Spacecraft Discovery One (or XD-1).
That was a good example of using a force as a gravity substitute. Calling momentum in a flywheel synthetic gravity is quite a stretch. It's not too helpful. How much did you offer for the Dominate Flywheel?

How much did you offer for the Dominant Flywheel?
I offered his price on the basis that he is likely to ask less than I'm prepared to pay.

      @All

This is the improvement to the track for the 'bhaskara wheel'.

Also a version to prevent an outer track ball going into the left half on the wheel. The yellow bar prevent the ball until it reaches the inner position.

The other images are showing the bottom & top sections; with an improved format.

Note. This wheel is a low rotation device. So large scale and heavy weights
      for power output.

Unfortunately I've been unable to contact him. If anyone can find out who he is I'd be happy to give them a £50 finders feel. :-)

Not that I'm that concerned now since I have discovered an explanation of how to get energy from train of 360° pendulums. For anyone sufficiently familiar with heat engines such as the Stirling who realises that energy is dependent on mod(temp.difference), the explanation is a revelation. It certainly was to me. :-)

In the case of the 360° pendulum motor the difference is of course difference in angular velocity, difference in the speed of the pendulum bobs as they speed up on one side and slow down on the other.

The bookie's favourite in other words. The 3rd derivative of position with respect to time, jerk. Since Cloud is the only member who has grasped the significance of jerk it's appropriate that the first announcement of this breakthrough is made on his thread.

So if you've got any oil shares, Waltzes, prepare to shed them now. Alternatively you could do what that Black Swan chap does and buy suitable options. :-)

What's the price of oil likely to go down to once knowledge of harnessing gravity is in the wild?

I would have never taken you for a pervert Fletcher.

Maybe its the result of all that tropical heat.

From now on I'll think of you as Fletcher the Letcher. ;-)
