It didn't work for me either with my configurations. I was and still hoping you have better luck. Fletcher is very good with WM2D so he is a good choice.

As it stands it will probably never work on a wheel due to vector restrictions along the vertical axis that are inherent to the operation itself. The problem I'm having right now is designing some sort of catch and release latching system for the reset, which I haven't been able to do yet as latches are very weird in wm2d. It's like trying to balance a baseball bat on your finger tip while allowing it to rotate at the same time. Tricky stuff.

If it can't work on a wheel, then I suspect it does in fact have the problem where it cannot be flipped, or inverted.

You dont need a wheel. Any reciprocating motion will do. But if you can flip it, you should be able to mount it on a wheel.

That's buoyancy even though it's hydrogen. It's still treated like a fluid in hydrodynamics. I already have a buoyancy SIMULATION that works. Its my backup to my alternating impulse engine in my Design Status Update thread. Height for width is a separate thing from both lol.

Then called it Buoyancy & Gravity (as water fall down) concept... it does sound cooler this way :)That's buoyancy even though it's hydrogen.
Btw notice that there's a characteristic (or pattern) in this buoyancy-gravity concept
- At the beginning when increasing the height of the pulley, the output gained is insignificant, way below the input.
- But with each increase of height, the output also increases.
- Eventually, with more height increase, the output will be on par with the input.
- And continue onwards, adding more height, the output will start to be greater than the input.
And this pattern share similarity in one of Bessler's Clue
