Concept of utilizing the Height

Post by helloha »

Continue from previously post of utilizing the height a.k.a gravity & bouyancy
http://www.besslerwheel.com/forum/viewt ... 640#150640

This time, instead of electrolysis & hydrogen, apply it on Air Well and Atmospheric Water Generator,
using these devices to extract water from air, then generate output energy from the "heaviest" of the water;
and the higher the water fall, the more the output.

Some type of Air Well don't require any energy input (electricity),
and if utilizing the height, still even get output;
but the process of extracting the water is very slow and probably inconsistent,
thus very unstable and low output.

Atmospheric Water Generator is energy intensive,
but if utilizing the height, at least can still claim back some energy, or improve energy efficiency.

A side note:
(1) one concept, different ideas;
- once knowing how to utilize the height, all sort of ingenious ideas can be applied based on that concept
- the same with Bessler Wheel, once the concept of the wheel is figured out, it will spawn to different ideas and designs.
(2) it's de facto solar panel (and maybe wind turbine) will be included for all the ideas

A hybrid method to combine Hydrogen Generator and Atmospheric Water Generator together,
- using the combustion process of hydrogen and oxygen, to produce water, heat and electricity, which
- in turn use the electricity to power up atmospheric generator, and also
- utilizing the heat for the condensation method to produce water, then
- gather the water from both hydrogen generator and atmospheric generator together in the bucket

Just a small addition for the buoyancy of the balloons
- using Solar Balloon method
- by using black or dark material for either
- the oxygen balloon,
- the hydrogen balloon... although not sure what will happen when warming up the hydrogen/oxygen gas... might explode, or
- the water bucket... need to trap air inside first

The pros of "utilizing the height" concept is
- technology like electrolysis, hydrogen combustion engine, fuel cell, gravity light, water generator etc already exists, and
- getting the airship to fly higher, build an even taller building, dig even deeper underground...
nations and corporation are constantly competing with each other;
- the research of these technology and breakthrough of these construction is still on-going

The cons of "utilizing the height" concept is
- most of the technology like electrolysis and water generator etc is very inefficient, still a long way to go
- increasing the height... also mean more expensive... very costly
- the output gain from the height is probably also very low

Just an observation

Since during the combustion of hydrogen and oxygen, beside producing water, heat and eventually electricity, there is also a big bang sound...
so can also utilize the sound by converting it to electricity using piezoelectric technology

An alternate concept

- Using solar panel to powered up atmospheric water generator to produce water;
- let the water fall down from the sky (through airship or some higher objects etc), thus creating artificial rain;
- with the rain & wind hitting on the windstalk or something similar, resulting in generating electricity,
- while the rain is being collected and stored

Add the "height" concept to the wind-storage-concept image snapshot from this video Hydrogen - Fuelling our Future? | Clean Energy
