This is my wheel concept 2017, not Bessler's 1717...
Levers(4) with weights(5) swinging on pivots at 45 degrees intervals on rim of drum wheel(1), tethered to cords(6) swinging on pivots(3) on rim at 90 degrees on one side and tethered to extending/retracting springs(7) swinging on pivots at 180 degrees on the other side, moving further away from axle(2) on the clockwise descending side, and nearer to axle(2) on the counter-clockwise ascending side of drum wheel.
In other words, single weights swinging simultaneously on (1) a lever (2) a cord and (3) a spring moving around an axle of a drum wheel.
The rest is easy to guess.

Another great design Raj,
But I am seeing weights that in some positions are heavy enough to completely elongate a spring,and in other positions that same spring is able to retract that same weight.I think that would be improbable,and that the weights would likely swing out to the rim on the ascending side.

Trying to turn the spinning in my brain into something useful before moving on to the next life.

I can vouch by the correctness of my drawing. The positions of the weights through 360 degrees rotation have been duly physically tested and confirmed.
For the very first time in my hundreds of wheel concept drawings, I have built a concept testing prototype BEFORE posting a drawing here.
There is some novelty in this wheel concept that I have never ever imagined in my wildest dream.

You don't need a video to show how the position of a weight in my Auto Wheel concept would change as the wheel is rotated 360 degrees.
A truthful drawing or a truthful picture should suffice.
Remember, we are talking about positions of weights. We are NOT talking about a WORKING wheel.
N.B: I am using thin elastic bands as springs. Because both the elastic band and the cord are too thin, they are not easily visible in the pictures.

Yes!
You have 8 weights swinging on extending and retracting SPRINGS, on a rotating wheel.
You want to DRAW the positions of each of the 8 weights as they swing around the axle on extending/retracting with continuous changing LENGTH of the SPRINGS, how you go about finding the exact positions of the weights in your DRAWING??????????
This is the only way I know how to locate the positions of the weights swinging in different directions on SPRINGS: BY MANUAL experiment, with a SINGLE weight on spring on a wheel (NOT a complete built wheel with all 8 weights on levers, cords and springs).
Once I can locate the positions of the weights swinging on springs around the axle of the wheel, then I can CALCULATE and see if they provide sufficient TORQUE to turn the wheel.
Now YOU tell me how would YOU go about this????????

I found my wheel just minutes ago.
It came only through persistent search, years in case, fiddling, doodling, drawing anything that came to mind, day dreaming, making rough models, with any material that in hand,
Bessler has done 143 drawings on records. I have done as many or more.
I am so excited , but lonely with no one near me to share my excitement.
Please do not believe that I am telling a lie.
Why should I?
I just don't know how to proceed, with such a big news.
I WANT to share this success with Scott, Ralph, Fletcher and Marchello if you so wish.

The reason the weights get to those positions is because you are moving them to those positions, they aren't finding those positions on their own. That's the difference between your auto concept wheel and a self rotating wheel. If you think you have the latter, to proceed you would need to remove your hand from the experiment and see if the weights get to those positions.

My advice on how to proceed:
Step one: The hardest part: Don't rush;
Step two: Take a deep breath (probably for a week);
Step three: Try to do something completely different;
Step four: When your hands are still shaking, go back to step one;
Step five: We'll all still be here.... a forum-PM away if you want.
Good luck.
