I like magswitches but they still take energy to switch them. Steel is very useful at redirecting the magnetic fields. I have used steel to make magnets to work as singular polled magnets. I haven't played with magnet devices for a while though.

As shown in the presentation, it is stated that it takes energy to turn it on. The energy is restored when turning it back off. It is like a spring if you want to think of it that way.

The question should be. Is there going to be enough energy to switch an keep going afterwards?
Test of actions and reaction time, to find the answer.

If it completes one cycle with energy gain, then we are good. As for the switch, my concern was mentioned previously. In order for me to test this, I need to come up with a torque device that will measure the torque it takes to completely turn on and off the switch under the two circumstances mentioned previously. That can be costly. So, I wanted to get some opinions first.
