Windows 10

Post by agor95 »

I have purchased a new computer and it is infected with a virus called 'Windows 10'.

I am really trying not to purge the hardware of this advertisement ware ;-)

i still use XP.. :)

its not a , "windowes 10 problem "..

you need a good fire wall , anti virus , anti mall were ..!

once you get them back , working nice... that is...:)

the best bang for your buck is :

ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 2018
5 pcs for a year..: $24.95 ,

( you can share that expense ),
by selling off a few of the product keys.. !!
if you don't need 5
ie.

i have 4 computers , and i give one product product key to a friend.

do a free 30 day trial , and see if you like it..!
you can get 13 months that way..

"just make SURE to un-check the box, or it will auto bill you next year.., or it will bill you $59.00 next year...!!!

make sure to avoid any " RUB", simply use ,
a New email address... :) next year (: to buy it...lol

Thank you for your replies.

Windows 10 has options that I could switch off etc.

It came with these adverts option already active.
The suppliers adverts coming up etc.

My position is this freshly purchase PC has a good firewall
and anti-virus software.

I prefer options I can switch on if I want them, not having to switch
off after the facts.

So my plan is to ISO image the C: drive [Backup] and give the system a
good Linux OS.

Then implement it as a virtual 'Windows 10' and keep it switched off :-)

I expect some people like to be 'users' inside a MATRIX Windows universe.

However I am in there working in the code of the O/S and applications.

The CPU and GPU are available via open source products.

So I am breaking out of the honey trap :-)
