You are invited to the first-ever Meet-up of Bessler/Over-Unity Enthusiasts
Sunday, March 31 in Florida.

Several of us Bessler/Over-Unity enthusiasts are going to meet on March 31 to exchange ideas, thoughts, experiences, etc. Originally we were going to meet at my home. I live in a retirement community located about 20 miles south of Tampa. My Community Association has the facilities to accommodate a larger group of people. So I have reserved a meeting room for Sunday, March 31. You are invited! It will be a minimalist get-together, i.e. no food, no beverages and no cost!

Please read all of this information about the Meet-up if you plan to attend:

The Meet-up officially starts at 1pm. The room is reserved from 9am onward. If you arrive early, feel free to meet and network with others who are already there. Or wander around the complex to see how we old folks wait for God. If you pack your lunch, you can eat in the meeting room. Or you can eat lunch at some of our local gourmet restaurants like McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, Sonny’s Barbecue, Denny’s, Bob Evans, etc.

The program is based on your participation. I’m hoping for presentations and show-and-tell on Bessler and Over-Unity topics in which you have a particular interest and knowledge. In my life I’ve met three Bessler/Over-Unity enthusiasts. They were all congenial and had interesting and informative stories to tell. I’m sure that each of you has a back-story based on your knowledge and enthusiasm of Bessler and Over-Unity, to share with the group. Or you may have a topic that you would like discussed by the group. If you have any suggestions for topics or an alternative format, please let me know. I’m hoping that someone can give a demonstration of using a physics simulation program to check out a design. To get things started, I plan on giving a brief history of perpetual motion, a short slide presentation of photos of Asa Jackson’s wheel which is still in existence at a museum in Tennessee and a Correlation Analysis of Bessler’s wheel diameters, rpm’s and gravity. After that, it’s up to you all!

The meeting room has a fire marshal capacity of 110 people. I’m not sure if there are that many nearby Bessler/Over-Unity fans that will travel to Sun City Center to attend. But, to be sure that we don’t overfill the room, you must make a reservation by sending me a direct email (not via this website) with a subject line of “Bessler Meet-up� to dave(at)suncitydave.org with your name and one sentence with your special interests and if you would be willing to speak to your special interests perhaps with some show-and-tell. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY FRIDAY, MARCH 15 so that we can configure the room for the number of attendees. The room has a large wall mounted TV that can be connected via HDMI to your laptop or mine if you want to accompany your presentation with graphics that you bring on your own laptop or on a thumb-drive. Murphy’s law applies. (By the way, Murphy was an optimist!)

This is a very laid-back retirement community. There will be other meetings going on at the same time. Dress will be Florida Casual, i.e. shirt or polo shirt and Bermuda shorts or slacks. Since we are guests of the Community Association, I want us to leave a good impression in case we do this again in a few years. The Association strictly prohibits smoking, alcohol, firearms and selling stuff on its property. And I strictly prohibit swearing and political talk. I can’t imagine anything worse for our cause than a news story that: “A drunken, smelly, cigar chomping perpetual motion nut with a gun in one hand and a beer in the other, wearing only a filthy undershirt drenched with tobacco spit and with the name “Bessler� tattooed on his forehead shouted obscenities about capitalism as he shot four old geezers playing golf.�

The meeting will take place in the Caper Room in the Atrium Building at 945A North Course Lane in Sun City Center, Florida 33573. Parking is to the north and east of the building. I’ll put the classic picture of Bessler’s wheel outside the meeting room. Doors open at 9am but the formal Meet-up starts a few hours later in the afternoon at 1pm. I choose Sunday because the traffic is much less. And I choose the afternoon starting time to give folks time to drive here.

I am going out of my way to host this Meet-up. By registering, you agree that the Community Association and I are in no way liable for any mishaps that may befall you.

I’m hoping that something that is said or shown at this Meet-up will encourage and lead others to solve the Bessler enigma and to find the solution to Over-Unity.

Tempted to suggest that a video conferencing/Skype type thing might be better considering the worldwide membership here but Lord above...I'd be thinking I'd died and gone to Hell if ever I found myself a part of it!

Change of Location for the Florida Meet-up of Bessler/Over-Unity Enthusiasts.
I invited you Bessler/Over-Unity Enthusiasts in Florida to a Meet-up on March 31. Not nearly as many registered as I had hoped for. So, instead of meeting in one of our community center’s room, I will host the Meet-up at my home. That way, you don’t have to dress up and the walking distances aren’t nearly as far. And I can show you my workshop, artifacts and pictures from over forty years of working on over-unity. And I’ll even spring for lunch at one of the local gourmet restaurants. I can display pictures & videos from my computer onto a large-screen TV. So if you want to contribute to the Meet-up, you can bring a thumb drive with your visuals.
The schedule will be to meet at my home between 11 o’clock and noon. We’ll go to lunch around noon and then come back to my home around 1 or 1:30 for an afternoon of Bessler/Over-Unity gabfest & show-and-tell. Well I certainly enjoyed the day! I did not bring along the buzzsaw wheel, sorry Dave and Dave. There was just the three of us. Thank you Dave for hosting and offering to buy us lunch. Great seeing Dave again and also a pleasure meeting Dave Roberts! Two great guys. The slide show of SuncityDave, was quite enjoyable. He is quite clever and has great building skills. If you are ever around the Tampa area, look him up. You won't regret it. Also, to see the enthusiasm coming from
Dave Roberts after working on PM machines for as long as John Collins was nice to see. I believe I have made a new friend. Thanks again guys!
