Happy birthday Ralph

Post by sequeen »

Hi Ralph
Happy birthday to you.
I am very happy to your birthday.
And I am thinking how to build my wheel with 1000000 kinds of methods.
But It is very difficult to find right method to build.
If I can share my idea with a friend it will be more easy to build.
Anyway I still not give-up for building working wheel.

SK
I don't say I can do it, I do it until I can.

A belated thank you for the birthday recognition's!

Due to age and accelerated loss of health, I will be retire-ring from this forum and wheel research. Selling and in some cases giving away my machine and carpenter shop tools, not limited to Grizzly 40" gap bed lathe and powered bench mill-drill. Eventually all will have to go. Intent is to sell my property and move in into an apartment.

Looking forward to no lawn maintenance and the ability to do a little traveling with a fifth-wheel trailer and my first edition 1992 diesel Ram pickup.

Being a member on this Forum since early 2005 I have enjoyed the years. I hope all the very best and good luck with your research. I thank all for their input and assistance.

To the members that have knowledge of my last attempt using hydraulic specific gravity, I release all information pertaining to this project.

Signing off: and the best to all!

Dear Ralph,
Very sad to see you go as I have enjoyed your posts.
This forum really shows you the truth about life.
Members giving up, others getting poor health and deteriorating. Some passing away.
Maybe the lesson we get from Bessler via this forum is much bigger than the wheel.
It is about the shortness and fragility of life, about people coming together with shared hopes and dreams.
About hope, creativity, perserverence. The power of the human mind.
Best of luck to you and your family.
But please check in on rare occasions as you never know!

Yes All The Best Ralph .

But don't forget that with a comfortable armchair an apartment is the ideal venue to allow you the time to retire to "Armchair Engineer" status with a solid "Hands On " background ! : )
Have had the solution to Bessler's Wheel approximately monthly for over 30 years ! But next month is "The One" !

All the best to you Ralph.

Being a machining man myself, it too would be dreadful day for me if I ever had to sell up for any reason.
I never got to know you that well as there have been considerably long gaps in my appearance over the past 15 years.
But what I have read of you has instilled much respect from me toward you.

Don't go being a stranger now! Get a tablet or something that's "mobile" and has internet connectivity.
It would be nice if you could still pop in from time to time. Who knows? you might be pleasantly surprised.

Bon Voyage.

Ralph, I totally see you sitting in an armchair writing up your mémoires and introductions to your Axial Hydraulic Motor, while silently pouring your too strong coffee onto the geraniums.
I wish you all the peace of mind and happiness you can handle, it was an honor.
Have good travels.

Thank you all for your so-long wishes! As long as Windows 7 is usable I will be popping in occasionally.

Since bidding my farewell I have sold off $3,245.00 worth of tooling, about 1/2 of what I paid for the lathe. Looking at approximately $150.00 to rid myself of the 15 years of bone yard material accumulated for wheel research.
