Bessler Used 120 Small Weights To Add Up To One Big One

Got the axle made today. The slot milled into it is vital to my idea. The discoloring shown as blue is from annealing the end so the slot could be cut.

Good news! I think...
Ok Using just one mechanism and letting it drop from top dead center, the beam comes around and goes past top dead center from where the mechanism started. I’ve let it go around 3 times...
That was three days ago. And today, it still does it. So I’m not dreaming.

Hi Alex,
of course, you used an eccentric mass and a spring.
A simple oscillator.
The Center of mass is allowed to leave the circle path !!
That is what I said before, technicians want to prevent this type of oscillation, because the forces get too big, and the Systems will be destroyed if you repeat this process again and again.
They know how to create this oscillation !!
Fortunately, luckily you found the correct spring/mass/distance Parameters which can also be calculated with the normal sim programs.
Nevertheless, it is good that you can demonstrate the (P)ermanent (M)ovement.
A very good start. A Basic functionality.
When you have a closer look to your construction you will see a Swinging of the CoM in the ROOM. depending on you start direction you will get the movement, right and up in the area 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock and right and down in the area from 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock.
Your construction is exactly running in the defined WINDOW.
It is selfregulating on its natural frequency.
A must for all (P)ermanent (M)ovement devices !!.
And in addition, the construction is self accelerating until it reaches the natural frequency, measure the time for the first round, and the second, and the third, until the stable run.

Hello GK.
That is way too complicated for me to even understand.
Can’t say much, but there is no oscillation. I think using oscillation as a substitute for raising and resetting the weight will never work. There is a spring in my mechanism however. The spring uses the structure of the beam as the ground.

Hi Alex,
your ground construction is looking similar to the attached Picture.
In Your start Position the weight of the flat iron is compressing the spring.
Movement to the right:
During Rotation the spring will shift the flat iron up and to the right.
In the area 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock.
When passed the 9 o'clock position position the spring will be compressed. In the area 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock.
The oscillation will take place by compressing and stretching the spring by the flat iron.

I can say this: you know the picture of that wind up fireplace spit turner JB put in our faces?
What I’m doing looks similar to that, but not as many wheels.

I am adding 3 more mechanisms. Which means addition to the rotating beam.

Forget everything I’ve said on this thread.
Anyway, since last September 2019, I have not been able to return to working on the ideas previously here. While feeling my plans were good, being kept away from doing anything about them, made me lose interest in the whole subject of PM.
It never completely departed though.
A couple days ago, I started fiddling with WM and came up with something with the scissor jacks.
Probably just a fluke,,,,,
The simulation has two 5 lb weights that actually stay basically balanced between themselves, but come together and fall apart as the system is turned over and upright again. There is power. They will actually raise a 6 lb weight.
This is just a sim though... I haven’t put anything together in the shop.
Hope springs eternal.

Sorry. A typo. It raises a .6 lb weight. Not 6 lb.

I’m back on with this. As always before I’ve noticed something.
Last year I bought 30ea 375 watt solar panels and have finished with those so they are not now stacked in the way of my beam deal in this thread...
