This is super cool, but there's not enough evidence to support that the balls being raised can maintain the disc rotation just by their fall. This is of course if perpetual is the goal. The motor has to overcome the horsepower threshold to maintain the rotation of the disc and also the balls, so there's nothing free here that I can see. But wow, so cool! That is a really super neat trick!
